Ha! I saw Shakira last night! I'm not really a fan but I got a free ticket and I couldn't miss the chance as it was in my town and all.. I thought it was really cool, she seemed to be havin' a good time. So is anybody into her? I heard her spanish stuff were supposed to be pretty good.. I just don't really need to get into her..
Anybody likes her?

Bryan Adams, Michael Jackson, Coldplay & A lot of the high school band thingies such as Blink 182, Sum 41 etc. are pretty fun too..

I want cut my hair
I love them - mostly the older cd's - or should that be lp's
You fucked it up Hejanne
he WON'T cut his hair

I remember reading Billy said that this is not a tour for playing there old material. They're in the studio recording right now. So this is apparently not going to be 1979, Tonight tonight, Zero, Bullet with butterflywings, Ava Adore, Everlasting Gaze, Siva etc.
Just some new unknown shit, and it's only Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin confirmed for the lineup so far. So this is basically Zwan again, except with the Pumpkins name.

You're talented. I think you should play the other guitar in Don't Cry. What you play in the verses are mostly fill shit by Slash it sounds terrible without Izzy/Gilbys other playing.
-
Well. I can like basically play all Slash stuff. A lot of it note by note. But also alot just through improvising and using my ears. What I did was basically learning the pentatone scale. And practicing solos over pretty much any song you like.
Of course if you're going for becoming a.. I don't know how to call it but, like an "educated" guitar player that knows a lot about chords, scales and music. I guess memorizing is a good way. What I just try to is play what's fun and remember, a lot of the greatest guitar players didn't know shit about what they was playing, they just had soul.
The pentatone scales are my advise for you. Slash uses them in almost every solo, Clapton even more, Page at most.

I like them too. I don't think they ever did much to become famous outside Denmark (?)
My favourite song is Nineteenhundredandyesterday. That song is ooohhhh soooo awesome. Grow Or Pay is one of my faves too.
You can find a lot of there stuff on Limewire by searching "Disneyland After Dark"

MCR are NOT big enough to headline, they have like 2 abums out or somthing, to new, to shit.
People are going crazy at the download forum in anger of MCR. They have to be dropped.
You think they'll skip a band they actually worked hard to do because of a bunch of intolerant fuckers on the fucking download forum!? Unbelieveable. They make a huge effort to give you a great festival. Be grateful & patient and think of it as an experience. Better bands will come.

He definately deserves to be honored. Shame about the way he plays live now.. But what can you expect? 50 years of Rock N' Roll definately taken it's torn on him.
-
I think they suck, but I really love their green shiny album cover anyway

blink 182
they really set the standard for todays punk bands and I think that without them we wouldnt have a punk scene these days
You can say that, but Blink 182 would never have made that kind of music if it wasn't for Ramones, Sex Pistols, Stooges or whoever.
Personally I think Sex Pistols were the most important band for punk rock.

Fuck no. A friend of mine saw him on one of his tours where he was playing Beatles songs. After "Hey Jude" he was crying because so many people were singing along and cheering for him. And even if he is arrogant, he's allowed to be so, he was in the most popular band. EVER.
And for that interview, you could soooo see how affected by the news he was. He didn't want to be there, what did you expect!?
Most arrogant motherfuckers is the Gallagher brothers, so get that Oasis crap out of your name and quit flaming british musicians when your adoring the most arrogant fuckers in british history.

Ah, I can't fucking wait till Roskilde!
When do they release the first group of bands?
Haha.. Me neither.. They start on a regular basis at march I believe. But they might add some already now.
-
I've only got their self-titled but I love it. Especially Can't Stand Me Now. Sadly, a lot of people think they're shite just because Pete Doherty was a member. They were a good band.
True, that's a shame. He's extremely talented.
-
Anybody into this band?
They're really cool and have a lot of different kinda songs. It's an english thing, so maybe you americans don't like them too much.
My favourite song is "Don't Look Back Into The Sun" - It's kinda punkish but also a very pop alike song.
If you don't like the band then discuss how cool Pete Doherty is
-
M-M-My Sharona!
What a brilliant song. Really...
The best part is when the solo ends, and there's that short break before the riff pops up again.
Nice cover too...
I love that part. One of my friends always go "ahhh you thought it ended!!!" and laughs.
It's a cool song, this year at Roskilde Festival we were listening to it all the time. It's a great party song.
-
I got it when it came out some years ago.. I never listens to it. Most of it is crap.
-
His vocals are extremely monotome.
They make it sound like a Sex Pistols song or something.
-
Well, despite the fact that Muse probably are more popular than GNR right now, I'm sure a hell lot of people would go to the show anyway. GNR could play at Wembley, didn't the already this year?
-
It did! God' fucking dammit. Anyway, I couldn't know.. How the fuck does a vintage GNR shirt from 87' turn up at a fucking local market in Denmark
-
Is this actually a real 1987 vintage t-shirt? And does anyone know if there was made any reprints of this one? Because I bought that one for $5 at a local market but I gave it to my ex girlfriend, and now I feel really stupid if this is actually a vintage 1987 t-shirt.
-
I'm sick too.. Where's my get well soon thread?
Nah, he's been doing great this year. Happy I got to see him/them kick ass this year!
-
Well.. at least they are putting out albums unlike Axl.

I used to love Heaven a lot. I've seen him twice live. It's been cool everytime. I don't really listen to him a lot anymore.
