Hehe yeah Springsteen has the record and is actually over the limit since I read that there is only supposed to be up to 16 000 people at the same time in the Globen Arena.

I don´t think GN´R sold 16000 tickets though. I don´t know how many tickets were released for the Globen show.

Axl was a significant contributor to GnR, and one could argue the #1 contributor (I don't agree, but the argument could be made). But he was not GnR alone, and without the contributions of Slash and Izzy (and to a lesser extent Duff), Axl would have the GnR name to use for his a solo project, but it would carry no weight and he would be going by some other name right now (if he was even doing anything). All Axl has to do is stop piggybacking off the GnR name and call his solo project something else and he'd catch a lot less grief.

This is actually a good point. Still I am horny for some new Guns N´Roses material so I am happy the legacy lives on! Or I mean hopefully lives on!

I don´t. I think this is a very weak track and can not be compared with the skills of Queen or Pink Floyd. This is by far the weakest and worse of the leaked tracks and I personally hope that they rearrange it completely before they master it or that it just doesn´t make the album. The other leaks are so much better!

We´ll have to contact the people putting up the show a few days before the actual date and they´ll have this information. If they haven´t heard any guidelines according photographing it won´t be a problem. But my guess is they will say we can´t do so...

it were Fredrik Strage, Susanne Ljung and Claes-Johan Larsson. I usually like the stuff that Strage says but today I couldn't disagree more.

Haha, yeah but Strage is known to change his mind and spill the beans quite often. He will probably be saying how cool the album is if it is a big hit when it finally comes out. Strage should stick to writing books, cause they are reallyu good anf fun to read. By the way, did they discuss the leaks or had they not even heard any of the music and were just talking based on the whole buzz around GN´R? If so, it´s more understandable that they were talking out of their asses.

This is the age of file sharing and Axl Rose has to know this. I think it's quite obvious why these leaks are occuring, other people are getting their hands on the material and sharing the files. The closer we get to the album, the more and more leaks will occur. And it's only a matter of time before bam, tracks 1-13 off of Chiense D will pop up somewhere on the internet. And then they will spread like wildfire through every Kazaa, message board and online community sites. Every major artists has had to deal with this fact recently and Axl will not be any exception. In fact, with Axl's reluctancy to release new material, file sharers are even more into spoiling his parade.

Axl claims to have all of this new material, that's great. But once it leaves the hiding spot under his bed, it's going to leak. It only takes 5 minutes for someone at the record plant, the mixing studio, the label, to upload the songs to an iPod and then share it with the world. I think we will be hearing all of Chinese D over the web over the next couple of months...when we finally pop in the CD, nothing on it will be new or heard for the first time. Sort of a shame, but sort of Axl's fault too for making us wait so long. I'll take the new music in whatever form it comes in. I will still buy the CD, but I will also download whatever new songs hit the web. It's 2006, piracy rules!
