Vocals? Music? Band performance? Or just a bore?
All of it. The wrong instrument is always too loud at the wrong prt. Bass is WAY too loud. Axl sounds maybe the worst I’ve heard since the start of the tour.
Still having a good time though. Doubt I’ll see Locomotive tonight sadly. I’ll leave during Coma to beat the rush.

He’s really emphasizing motherfucker. Probably dedicated to TouchTunes

Did you bring a tube? Just planning for Friday, although I suppose each venue has thier own rules.
Didn’t but wanted to. I didn’t expect to get any so I didn’t want to carry it. I should’ve. Most places in NY let you bring non-metal ones in.
Pretenders still on. Feels like a long set. About an hour so far. One worker showed me the schedule and GNR is due on at 8p. We’ll see.
Also, not a fan of The Pretenders really but she sounds phenomenal at 71. They killed it. I’m guessing the surprise is Carrie Underwood.

That was the last one. Nothing anywhere left that I saw

Was able to snag the second litho from the club level. 215 is an awesome section and was the same $59 as a lot of the others.

Lucked into the poster. They wouldn’t let me buy two, sorry. They had two available though. The gold one is a tour litho and was out of 1000, the Edison one is Metlife and out of 250. I skipped the gold but that sold out first I guess.

can you get me a litho? ill pay you $100
ill be in 113. but i won't get there till 7pm or so
They’re impossible to get there. I’m 0-4. I doubt I even get one, let alone them letting me get two.

I’m in section 215 if anyone is interested.
Also, if anybody can communicate their litho situation, that’d be awesome. I’m gonna be there waiting for gates at 5 but Metallica was a mad dash to no avail.

It usually only works for a band that’s toured the same show for near 8 years.

Any word on Metlife art? Scalpers get there so goddamn fast so I’m trying to hustle one out.

Lots of lowest of the lows. It’s a bad thing when people relate GN’R to a Kardashian shirt.
Editing: Kardashians work their asses off. They put out more than GN’R.

So people have gone to places to play it? Is it something I should do at this point or will it still be available tomorrow? Never know if this is a stupid blunder or a stupid release.

I grew up loving Foo. My opinion is pretty consistent with some here. 2005 and 2007 albums are where I kinda checked out since they’re fine at best. Wasting Light is a monster. Every album after that has maybe 1-2 songs that are pretty solid songs. Most are fine. I don’t want to rip my ears off or anything.
They’re not overly adventurous in the sense of The Beatles or anything, but they do what they do well. That’s okay. They’re not writing the same songs they wrote in 1997 still.
There’s very much an, “if I don’t love it, it sucks!” mentality on this forum. Feels like some of you should learn what, “not for me,” means.

2006 Axl was a monster. I’d choose a bunch of 2006 over Tokyo 1992, honestly.

I saw 4 in Oct 2017. MSG, Newark, MSG, MSG. Midway through the section show, it felt like too much. I already had all four so I went, plus awesome lithos, but I will never do that again.

I hope they drive on stage in their nascar

I don’t think they’re lazy necessarily. It just seems pretty clear that the 17th leg of this tour isn’t the priority for at least half of them.

I like that little whistle along to “truth is the truth hurts, don’t you agree?”
I never noticed until a couple weeks ago. Weird decisions all over that album. “But I don’t want to do it,” is one where the producer should’ve slapped him.
Also, funny story about it. An ex once asked who Debra was and why she was so mean. “You know, ‘Debra says nobody cares about you.’” I still hear that every time.

Original era, Axl for sure. Finck was my favorite in the 2000s. I’m team Fortus now.

Attempted transcription of his annoyance against the spotlight, for now, until we get better video and audio.
" Stop, stop, stop. Ok, this is to the spotlight that I'm pointing at. I don't know what your deal is, but I've asked you to shut that off about ten times now. I really want to do the show for the people, and I don't want to be blind. I don't know what's wrong with the light, (but if you?) can't seem to fix it-
Sorry people! We have to start over now.
You can use that one ( it's (??? word rymes with fake or take) / instead ), that one is (??? stuffed?/touched?) Please, shut (it?) the fuck (off?/up?). [Most likely "Shut it the fuck off", as he's referring to the light.] "
Use that one, that one’s great. That one sucks.

Can someone spell out which songs are missing from which versions? Or point me to the page it’s on if you know? Just curious in case I decide to buy something.

Ha, I’m from Cleveland. Usually pretty chill on Axl stuff but this seems noticeably different. At certain points, either his mic kept cutting out or he was singing SO high Mickey that no technology could pick it up. Mostly early, but easily for the first 6 or so songs in the stadium. Seems more winded tonight too, but I don’t pay much attention to that on the streams when I watch
lemme get that Prostitute or Locomotive tonight.
