One question that sticks in my mind, is that if Axl is not interested in money making anymore, and does it for the love of the music, why doesn't he create his own label and release his own music like so many musicians have?

Look, at the end of the day, Axl/gnr might think the label were being unreasonable with demands or whatever, but they sunk millions into the project and got missed deadlines and unfinished songs to show for it. No wonder they were pissed off

the lack of civil suit against skwerl always lead me to believe that it was someone close to axl who was responsible

It would have been great for Bucket and Robin to have been on the actual CD tour, since most of it has been played. But like everyone else besides two bitter drummers, they left by their own choice.

it's obvious a reunion agenda was pushed to breaking point sometime around xmas, as the change of mood in the forum chats by axl and then the reuters/del inteviews were poles apart

that's why he talked so much about ownership of the name, the alumni and then the icing on the cake with the cancer comment just to make it very clear, rather than talking more about CD
