I happened to be watching when GNR came on.  The band sounded great but axl was horrendous.  No way that performance will get any new fans.  It was cringeworthy.  Reminded me of Vince Neil clips. I saw them in 2018 Thought it was a good show. You don’t notice what you do watching sitting at home on your couch.  I thought it was really bad. Slash was great though and looked cool. Axl needs to just be a studio musician.  He looked and sounded completely ridiculous

I would have guessed that since they just played austin they would have played locomotive instead of coma.  Would never expect many changes from last week but that seemed like a logical swap

Madagascar is the other track which is mixed much better. beside the pitman synth trumpets and Axls voice which is too monotone at some parts.

Whats really annoying is Pitmans synth. I will never understand why the didnt choose a real orchestra...the synth sounds cheap as fuck and makes a lot of these songs annoying.

Great call on Riad.  It this is def the best version.  This leak is really bringing me back to 2001 when I made my own greatest hits cd and included  the blues, Maddy from rock in rio and the riad from audience recording from the house of blues .. great stuff 

Wow. Impressed by Atlas and Perhaps also my favorite version of the blues and catcher.  I really wish slash and Duff take a turn with Atlas.  It still sounds like there is an awkward transition during the song.  I love the beginning though.  Sounds exactly how and evolving GNR should have sounded back in 2000.  Songs like Better would have been a perfect on a  follow up album to even further progress their sound.  Nothing will ever beat AFD in my opinion... but this would have been a great album back in early 2000s 

I don’t like the Mac daddy part but I could see this being a current day hit if he collaborated with a popular dj like Calvin Harris to make that part something less cheesey.  I like the vocals in this one though 

GnR should just drop these on ITunes if they are going to leak anyways.  Seems like no downside if they give the unheard songs the same treatment they gave Shadow of your Love.. clean them up a little bit and just drop the tracks on iTunes. If they get bad reviews the band can say they were just demos.  If one is a hit then it’s just gravy. 

The vibe and sound of these tracks are exactly what I hoped new GNR would sound like.  Include the early version of the Blues as a ballad and Better as serious forward sounding track and you have yourself a nice little EP.  I would love to hear studio versions slash and duff take on Catcher, TWAT, The Blues, better and Atlas.  Just rock music.  No electronic synth noises and over dubs.  That would be a great mini album despite only really having 1 new song.

Wow 25 more pages since last night.  Not asking for a link... just a summary of what’s leaked.  Last I read was a clip of atlas and checkmate and a scom rehearsal.   Have I missed anything?

All I would really be interested in is remastered (or even redone) demos of unreleased songs from that era.  Ain’t going down, crash diet, too fast, sentimental movie etc....

Not sure why I just didn’t do this in the first place but just messaged the seller through eBay to ask them what this was all about and they got right back to me.  Sounds like he has other items too   No idea what his connection is but figured I would pass along the info  

These are studio recordings from when the band was recording Appetite for Destruction. I have others, just haven’t listed them yet.

What would an original shirt go for? I had one but sold it shortly after the concert for about 250 bucks.  I needed the extra money after splurging on going to the show.  Now I regret selling it.

I never knew their was a soundboard recording of this. I had the old Kenyoke bootleg that I got back in 2001 that was made from an pretty good audience recording.  I really wish I saw this before the auction ended. Is this common knowledge that this is out there and been around a while or is this new. At first I thought it was a leaked cd from 2001 that I remember was being sold on a Japanese site HMV I think.  I remember pre ordering It and still waiting to get it. 19 years was a heck of a pre order. 

Also anyone have any clue what this was?  I posted it in another thread too. Seems very strange to me.. sold for 5.5k

I was at the 01-01-01 show.  I remember waiting in line to get in and completely missed any sort of New Years count down. It was a crazy time because we really had very little information. I didn’t know who was in the band.  Just knew that  slash wasn’t. I had no idea about any of the new songs or even if any new songs would be played.  The show ended up being a blast.  The highlight was the welcome back chant .. the lowlight was bucket heads nunchuck solo.  Hearing the blues for the first time was also great.  The song sounded like it belonged with other illusion tracks.  It’s still one of my fav Chinese democracy songs.

I’m actually from Westerly... the fact this is national news is mind boggling and embarrassing.  The republican senator is an idiot for responding.. or even caring what the restaurants views are.  I don’t agree with impeaching the president.  I think it’s a stupid position.. but I also couldn’t care less that Amigos sold those shirts. Anyone offended by a tee shirt must have mental problems.  It’s usually the liberals who have so much faux outrage.  I won’t vote for Elian Morgan again

I generally don’t like complaining on here or be negative about what GnR does... but I made the mistake of clicking on the holloween merch e-mail and can only shake my head... who would actually buy one of these shirts?  They are the cheesiest designs I’ve seen yet.. have to be an inside joke or something
