last time a bunch of leaks surfaced back in 2006... they were all featured in the set list. songs that no one heard of like Better etc.. I remember the hammerstein show playing just about all of the recently leaked songs. ... so who knows maybe they will play OMG. think it’s an odd choice for an alternate to begin with unless it’s reworked by the current band

the house of blues and Rio versions of the blues were my favorites. is this leak similar to those? always wanted a studio version of the blues from that era.... although “okay never mind” sort of became part of the song for me since i listened to the rio version so much back then

wow this is incredible... i would love to get to see this. I was at the show. it was amazing. i remember really liking the blues. was great hearing a new guns song for the first time. it actually sounded like an old school Guns song. one of the best parts of the show was axel sitting on the piano and the crowd chanting “welcome back”. the buckethead numbchuck solo was the low point by far, i remember trying to order tge DVD off of a japanese website back in 01 or 02... still waiting on that delivery

interesting stuff. i always wanted to hear a studio version of silk worms. hopefully i can track it down. from the sounds of everyone’s comments OMG is similar to the End of Days release. i’m very interested to see the current bands take on that song. was cool to see it as an alt on the setlist

I got the Hartford lithograph this Christmas since it was the show I went to. The not in this lifetime lithos are awesome. I was never into individual show artwork until this tour. It reminded me of Flyer I bought in 2001 for the 01-01-01 vegas show. I finally found it after digging through boxes I put away s long time ago. Does anyone know if this official from the band or not?

I thought the band and axl sounded great. His voice was way better live than how it comes across in the videos. Slash was the star of the show though. The setlist was great. I’m not a huge Chinese democracy fan but really liked the bands take on them. I usually skip This I love but thought it was one of the best songs last night. Slash makes it sound like a classic gnr song. Nightrain and welcome to the jungle were the highlights for me. Patience was also great. I thought the crowd was a little lame people seemed more interested in recording on their phone than getting fired up and getting into the show. It was definitely worth it and the best gnr show I have been to since I was too young to see them in 1988

They played twat before the encore? That's interesting. Did replace anything in the main setlist?

Does anyone think they will replace the seeker since The Who is opening? Is it normally part of The Who's setlist? Maybe they will collaborate on that song if it is played

The lithos are great for this tour. Did they always do them for each show or was that something they only did for the NITL tour? I would love to get one from previous shows I've been to like the 2002 msg show or 2006 Hammerstein if they exist.

Anyone hear today's soundcheck? Curious if there were any hints as to the "new" songs

Does anyone know who the opening band is for this show? I splurged and got floor seats for this show. Tickets were way cheaper than NYC or Boston. I saw them in Vegas at the house of blues, and then at msg in 02 and again at the Hammerstein ball room... but never got to see the real band. Can't wait to finally se them with slash and duff.

Was there ever anymore chatter about footage of the 01-01-01 Las Vegas show? I remember ordering the DVD or vhs off of a Japanese website about 15 years ago but never got it.

Congrats and thanks for a fantastic album. Are there any plans to release the 01-01-01 vegas show? i was at the show and it was unreal.. the welcome back chant while you were sitting on the piano and the version of patience you played right after was one of greatest GnR moments i can think of. i'm sure all the fans that missed the show would love to see it on dvd. also hearing the blues, chinese democracy, rhiad and silk worms for the first time was unreal. Thanks again for a great album.. and 4 awesome shows that i got to got since 01.
*Possibly* The General, terrible quality cell phone recording *NO LINKS*
