Yeah Travis is an extremmely talented drummer, and most here would over look him just because he's in Blink. That's probably because a lot on here are guitar players.. and don't like them because the guitar work doesn't have solos.. I know because I used to be like that, and denied to myself I liked blink, while my brother learned all their songs on drums.. But yeah.. now I like Blink, and Travis is a real great drummer

I voted for Wake me Up When September ends.. I think it's a real cool song, and it's very catchy.. especially with those few guitar notes that are clean.. Great song IMO.

Yeah I agree with you on both parts.. There was so much hype on the new Coldplay album, I got excited, and was actually let down. They wrote much better songs; yellow, the scientist, are my favorites by them..

Only listen to songs with guitar solos! I hate talking to people into rock music because 90% of them think that way.

I used to be that way.. 6 years ago when I first started learning guitar, I loved like.. Blink-182, 3rd Eye Blind, Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls.. all that stuff.. and I learned all the songs on guitar.. But when I progressed, I started to only like songs with guitar solos. I finally got out of that stage, and now I proudly admit I like Blink, Goo Goo dolls, 3eb (not matchbox 20 anymore!!).. I've learned that if the song appeals to me.. it's okay to like it if it doesn't have great guitar playing..

But I still enjoy good guitar playing ie: Avenged Seven Fold!

Pretty good for demo's.. I only listened to the first and second ones so far, and yeah..

I think the mix is pretty good sounding overall for a demo, how'd you record the drums? Mics? Drum triggers? If mics how many, and positioning? The only complaints I have with the mix is the bass seems a little low to me at some points; otherwise it's pretty solid.

Yeah.. The 90's were when I first started getting into music.. which is why I like these guys, and Third Eye Blind, and everything like that! I remember just being up north, at night, on the lake.. a bunch of teenagers in a truck blasting semi charmed life, and iris right after that singing every word.. That's a great memory to me, because I was younger and couldn't wait to be older to do that..

Thought I'd update.. we got XP up and running smoothly, didn't go for the ram increase.. Itunes was a bitch to install , the shit with the disk kept screwing up, and I ended up downloading it off of the apple site.. I'm in the process of transfering cd's onto itunes, so yay.

Congratulations Sir, you have the ability to know music tastes, but i don't know if you can read properly.. cause no where did I say that you don't have the ability to determine your own music judgements, i commented on CoCa's story, that is quite hard to understand, and said you wouldn't understand.

Actualy gnr uses pre-recorded music at all their live shows. So they don't have to remember anything as far as tabs go. Even if they did, their music is so easy i bet even  gnr wouldn't fuck up when they play

er, just noticed, sure it's not the 8570 C?  it'll take up to 256 MB of RAM, two 128MB 3.3 volt, in case you go out looking

96MB sounds like it does that graphics shared memory thing, with 32MB of the 128 in your one stick being used for that

so probably just one more 128MB stick would do it.  Won't handle more than that anyway.

No, dude, that'll work. Might try and find a RAM upgrade, though, check around and see if anyone sells SDRAM anymore, someone who does have it will probably sell it cheap. And you could always get a bigger HDD.

Won't matter much if you're just surfing the net and whatnot. Don't try to play Battlefield or Half-Life on it though

Pricewatch.com used to be a good site to find components, don't know if it's still up though.

Yes. But I'd suggest a reinstall not an "upgrade", things tend to work out better that way.

Guess that means it's time to break out the DVDs to back up your GNR stuff
