  1. mtv stands for music tele vision. they never show any music videos! all they show is ride my pimp pimp my ride, viva la bum(sometimes good), newlyweds :sleeper: , cribs(good show!), punk'd  ...etc

VH1, MTV2, Q and Kerrang are much better channels

I love Viva La Bam, fake as hell but so funny!

    And Bam Margera  *drools*

But yeah, the clip doesn't look real at all.

  2. shutup.gif

:rofl-lol: Nothing to add to that.

But on topic, I don't think its the Guns n Roses that are missing something, its you as a fan that is missing the element of Guns n Roses you once craved. But you see, us true fans have that faith in our band, we know that they will give us that thrill and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm enjoying this tour, maybe you should re-analyze yourself as a fan Kaneda.

  3. I think it adds to the intensity of the show.

Exactly, it definetly gives spice to the show.

Fireworks would be nice for the moment but at least confetti displays a nice show and lets you go home with a part of the show. It sounds cheesy but I would rather have a piece of confetti to remember the moment rather than have it fly by right in front of me just like that.

  4. Pantera's best song, imo.

Same here, I don't listen to alot of their songs but judging from what I've listened to, Cowboys From Hell is their best.

I have to agree with everything FYE said; beautiful riffs, etc. :)

  5. "Axl Rose. He did tons of drugs, dated tons of models and made the rest of the band bail on him. Rock stars are a thing of the past, but I think Axl would be the biggest feature in the rock-star museum, if they built one."

"tons of drugs?????" uhhhh, that's funny because I- being a damn large gn'r (axl rose, specifically) fan for years and years now never knew axl to be doing "TONS OF DRUGS." Tons of drugs are regular dances with cocaine, heroin, speed, etc. etc. etc. etc.... hmm... last time i checked-- not one w. axl rose was ever known for doing tons of drugs!

god i abso-positiv-a-lutely HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE fucking dork nerd dweebs from these horrible lame bands like "yellow card" trying to talk about something they are clueless about... i will kill ALL OF THEM! AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relax man, he was probably just trying to emphasize his point.

    Wow.

  6. I think by drugs and models, he was sort of trying to emphasize the "rock star" aspect of Axl Rose. Although his information was not 100% accurate, I think that he was just trying to picture the 80's rock'n roll lifestyle and i don't blame the guy for getting any information wrong.

It's pretty cool that he admires Axl Rose, but then again, so do all of us :)

I'm gonna be bustin' caps soon enough!

    BUSTIN' THEM CAPS!!!

    :scared::scared:

I would hate to get on your bad side.

    Disturbing!

Becareful. He warned you... BUSTIN THEM CAPS!!!!

    Go, Pittman, Go!

Dude, you are quoting yourself, and referring to yourself in the third person. THAT'S disturbing.

:rofl-lol: Watching him do it is priceless!

    Very entertaining.

  8. What a predictable thread.

Guns rock as it is, and its threads like this that are totally pointless and that are only here to stir up some trouble and conflict.

Sure, discussion is healthy, but not when it is about a sensitive topic about despensible members.

Guns n Roses line-up will stay. ACCEPT IT! ( a la Almost Famous Style).

  9. MAKE ME A SANDWICH, BITCH!

I hope that wasn't adressed towards me. :o

    -----------------------------------------

And to the rest of y'all,

I put quotations near Sell-Out because I find that even though I am disgusted by that term and find it over-used, it seems to get the message across and is somehow part of everybody's vocabulary.

I don't believe in selling out either, I find that a band makes every of their decision and if it sucks, then let it be sell-out, but I believe it just plain sucks.

  10. I'm gonna be totally honest here,

the only contradiction going on here is of what we say as fans.

We will not be satisfied; if Axl drinks and does stupid shit, we are going to tell ourselves, "Shit,we're screwed, there goes the album, bla, bla, bla."

If he is going to go to his hotel room and sleep right after a concert, we are going to tell ourselves, "Shit, where is the 'old Axl' that would drink and act like a rockstar"?

What is it we want from him?

To not put his album/tour at jeopardy? but then where does all the excitement go?

    da_illest_in_402, answer me this question.

Which one of the two would you rather have, and yes, I am aware they are both extremes.

But would you rather him be a "rock-star" or a man that has "lost the thrill"?

Because I wanna know this once and for all...
