I realized I never posted pictures of the T-shirt; better late than never. I still go back and watch this show on YT occasionally; what a great time this was!

Really cool, you rarely see show goers post the front of the city event tee with the pocket logo so good to see it for Atlanta.

I kinda regret not picking up this design from the Merch Truck as really like the nod to the Bad Apples design.

I think that deep down most people agree with this assessment, but are influenced by comments and mocking videos on the internet or what their friends/wives/cousins etc. say. It's the reverse psychological effect of people being overwhelmed and excited after seeing a show in person and overstating Axl's performance as better than it actually was. And many times they go from one end to the other.

As a person who's been to multiple crue concerts (my husband is a big fan) and multiple GN'R concerts, saying that Axl and Vince Neil are the same is laughable. The people in tiktok probably haven't been to either tbh, so I maybe understand why they might think that. But for those who are paying attention, hard no. Vince doesn't even sing, really.

Axl is still hated by the public who hasn't  been into Gn'R since the Illusions came out. People still try telling joke's by wondering 'if Axl showed up 5 hours late'. He could go out and perform every song he's ever recorded perfectly and still get shit on. He's nowhere near what Bon Jovi and Neil are at this point. It's really a fucking joke to compare him to Vince. He's certainly not vintage, but people in the building are enjoying it, or else they'd be booked in ballrooms and theaters. Axl will always be the brunt of jokes because of what he once did, no matter what he is at this point. He's a shell of his former self, but its still good enough to put on good shows in stadiums and arenas.

I also think less grace is given to Axl vs. other singers, maybe because of Axl's prior reputation. Where I do disagree is saying it's "really bad" because that's just not correct. When you're there, Axl sounds great, it's money well spent and the show is excellent. Yeah, YouTube videos are unkind but he's 30 years past his prime so what are we trying to zero in on exactly?

If the bar is reading comments from people who believe Axl Rose is comparable to Vince Neil then is the analysis worth the paper it's written on?

    All spot on.

Am I the only one that feels like in the last few shows Axl has been moving around more and trying harder on his vocal techniques? I feel like I'm seeing more running, dancing, gestures, better overall vocals, longer sustained notes, etc. He seems like he's having a better time than usual and putting in more effort. I wonder what it's attributed to. I remember some people talking about the humidity or some shit 😂. I wonder if he's happier because he's completely over his illness or something.

    Power Trip.
