  1. Duff & Izzy would bring back Gn'R to their best once again - it's pretty obvious that Axl & Duff still share an amazing chemistry onstage. And Izzy would just fit there tightly in the song-writing stuff.

No need for Slash really - he's an incredible talented guy but his and Axl's ego would never get along... And now we have DJ that is a more than up to the the job.

IMO this would be the perfect lineup current GnR to me: Axl, DJ, Bumble, Izzy, Tommy & Frank. rock4

  2. Great footage and performance! It's a shame there's one guitar player too many - DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot would fit the bill just perfect.

How can you exclude Richard? He's extremely talented. And he has soooo much energy on stage. You would think differently if you've seen them live. All three are important parts to this band. Every single member of Guns N' Roses plays a very important role in the band. I wouldn't take any of the current members out Guns N' Roses. They're all incredible.

FYI I've seen Guns live 3 times already - 92, 06 and just a few days ago in Lisbon...

No disrespect for Richard but I think 2 great talented and unique styled guitar players like Ashba and Ron are more than enough for Gn'R. It would would give the band a more crisp and recognizable sound.

It just seems weird to me to see a rock band with so many guitar players, switching places on the solos and so on... :tongue2:

To be honest, I reckon Axl just doesn't want to have a prominent lead guitar player (like Slash) ever again...

  3. What amazing fucking band....fuck all the haters fuck all the bad press, yesterday by far was the best concert i´ve ever saw, shure i´m a big guns/axl fan and people can always think that´s that part of me talkin, but i have saw many concerts in my 31 years in this world and none of them come close with what i´ve saw last night...one super band, one super axl and one 99% full house really into the band and enjoying every minute...2h: 50m of concert...thank you very mutch guns n roses for existing....just two word for sebastian, fucking great...

    Amen bro!

  4. Classic Gn'R like Appetite and even UYI stuff are simply classics - so no matter what they'll always get played and get air time on the radios.

The same unfortunately can't be said about current "new" Gn'R...

  5. No Pics ?? No Videos ?? No Info ?? Jeez.

    My thoughts exactly!

In other (poorer) countries there were pics and vids by the dozens and none here!! The people that attended this gig must be very poor folks...no money for cameras/phones... :(

  6. Most people buy mainstream music from "fashionable" bands, as was Gn'R in their heyday. Now they're simply unknown to most people and forgotten by others. Too much time has gone by without any albums...

The only way to measure fairly CD album success against its predecessors imo would have been if it was released some 14 years ago or so. That's just the way it is.

  7. I think the new album is a no risk-bet - we even know by now more than half the set list and we're still drooling for it to come out!

Altough as times pass by quicly, one has to see if new audiences get conquered or not, besides the existing and vast die-hard fan base...
