  1. We have all heard the title for nearly two decades like some of the other song titles we've heard years in advance, im interested to see if those songs lived up to your own hype hearing Baz talk about them or hearing they were a big gun. For example i was super excited to hear "Prostitute", finally hearing it sounded nothing like i thought it would, but still love the song, one of my favourites. "Sorry" another one was excited for for years, i was fairly disappointed with it. Hardschool/Jackie Chan/Checkmate hearing that clip back in the day, i believe after CD had already came out and was super stoked how that small clip sounded and when we finally got the leak and found out it was called HardSkool and got the chorus i was blown away, way better than i anticipated. I could name so more just interested to see what other peoples opinions were changed after they finally got to hear a song.

It's crazy that they would delay this song release. Like what could be the hold up?  The song has to be done. I can't imagine there is going to be some giant marketing campaign for one song.  Even if there was a physical release delaying things it would be all online orders anyway so that would not hold anything up.

So many news outlets have already reported the song coming out, why would you want any bad press surrounding it?

Just a bizarre decision by universal if it actually is delayed

Yup its being advertised so much this week that the casual fan might think to check it out, but by delaying it they will probably forget about it by next week

By late 2011 Tommy said they had 22 unreleased songs by the time he was finished. It is not clear how many of these songs contained vocals (Tommy actually didn't know because Axl was working separately on vocals, and he would later say that Axl recorded vocals every year). This number is also smaller than the number of unreleased songs form the Village leaks (about 32-34), which indicates that the band had continued working and that some songs had been left behind (that they had continued working isn't news, we know that Scraped was added after the Village recordings and we know that many songs were worked on).

The big questions are of course how many songs have finished vocals and what Axl might have done after Tommy was finished.

Here's a summary of what has been said about unreleased music up to 2017: (50) 28. AUGUST 2008-FEBRUARY 2009: CHINESE DEMOCRACY IS RELEASED - Page 2 (a-4-d.com)

i think just based on stories ive heard from people i trust and had no reason to lie to me, there is more songs completed or close to being completed 20 years ago then what we’ve heard about, i have no idea about a number, but i definitely heard descriptions of songs with vocals that were not in the Village discs from credible source.

It's named after Chinese food. There's a dodgy phone recording that may be the General. It's supposedly epic and parts of it were played during the show intro years ago.

But no one actually knows much.

It may well end up being a terrible song.

i thought i remember hearing it was the third song of the trilogy that was November Rain and Esteanged, but i could be wrong

The only thing that happens while GnR doesn't release anything, is me discovering more great music which makes me forget about GnR altogether :shrugs:

At some point Axl must realize this is happening. I mean... most people also have a limited budget for going to shows.

What would you rather do? See GnR for the 10th time or see other artists which actually release new great stuff?

    I'll see myself out :shrugs:

LOL I actually like Hardy, but probably "Sold out" or his new song "Jack" is more up Guns N Roses fans alleys

I don't think anything is going to happen this year in terms of new music. They're very clearly promoting the UYI box, with this single and now the music video, and probably the November Rain 2022 single in November. This is pretty upsetting in my eyes, we've seen so much of AFD and UYI stuff that I think I'm really tired of all this shit lol. But there are positives:

1.) These songs have likely been uploaded or submitted in some form, so GNR is likely preparing a potential release, it's just not imminent, and we have a good idea of what the tracklist could be if it's true.

2.) They've already done AFD nostalgia tour, the UYI nostalgia era, after this where's there left to go? Either next year is the new music tour if they want to go back to the states again or the final tour. Can't see them touring everywhere again (minus South America which always loves GNR regardless) without something in the future.

Who knows with this band, I can get pretty negative about them, but I think right now we just gotta get through the UYI era re-tread and after, something new could surface next year, or 2024 if they take 2023 off.

The Spaghetti Incident Nostalgic era for the next 5 more years, which will be just in time for the 20 Anniversary of Chinese Democracy which will begin that nostalgic era tour with the new album coming out 2030…. makes sense in GNR thinking terms

I'm Canadian we have no choice! I've actually seen them live 5 times dating back to 2004 and I've enjoyed all but 1 show. The 2017 show I saw just felt like it was lacking in comparison.

That's the thing about that Canadian free health care. It's free. But shit is it a slow process.

Yes i can vouche for you on this, also Nickleback fan, they are actually from a town like 2 hours from me
