  1. I didn't realize the bassist was from Snakepit II and Blues ball. Pretty cool. Blues totally snuck by me when it happened somehow.  I was in the NAVY with no internet back then. Not sure how, I mean I followed and saw the first Snakepit during those years.. Pawnshop guitars, Neurotic Outsiders.. Bought every magazine looking for any news Gn'R.. Maybe I was on deployment or something when it took place. Well about 40 years later, I get to see something pretty damn close!

    Super stoked for the Pusher.

The cold, hard truth is not something I'm interested in right now, Covid made a glorious comeback in my house. XD

Same.. I have very little interest in what Gn'R do anymore. They could hang it up tomorrow and it would probably be for the better.. I'll still go see them live for nostalgia purposes and to see Slash play the classics live but if I had a chance to see this tour over Guns, I would choose this one...

Edit: I'm sure Axl will listen to it but we'll never know what's going on in his head and heart. There's at least a tiny chance that this will wake him up a little.

It doesn't matter anymore anyway... Axl's window is gone.. His voice is gone.. They may have been able to do something decent 8 years ago but that ship has sailed.. Not to mention the drummer situation.. Guns n' Roses will never release a good song again..

  4. Great cover.... The song in general is a bit played out (over covered) for me but still really good none the less.  I feel the same about Hoochie Coochie man as far as it being over played and covered.. Not too excited for that one.. The production is again great as well as the drums.. They just fit the song perfectly.. Another drummer that suits Slash better than Frank.

Anybody knows Dorothy? I’m not familiar with their/her songs but there’s a Slash guest appearance in the Troubadour on Gifts From The Holy Ghost. Not bad. I also like the studio version. Here’s the song with Slash

I don’t know the song she sings on Slash’s album either so I have no idea what to expect.

Wow, I actually liked that a lot.. Pretty bad ass.

I don't really get why people don't like Motley Crue to the level they do, again, other than preferring the music of GNR.

Crue brought it all on themselves.. They are one of my all-time favorite bands, but they are a complete joke now. I have seen them around 30 times and some of the best shows I have ever seen.. They may not have been the tightest band live but they were a great rock show and they used to actually play live. They could throw one hell of a party..

The backing tracks became way out of hand.  Whether it was them pretending to sing background vocals or Nikki pretending to play bass. They tried to distract everyone with explosions. Then there is Vince.. No explanation needed.. They should have ducked out after the Carnival of Sins tour which was great.. Then there is the whole retiring thing.. They should have stayed retired and things had gotten so bad that I thought they would.. The stadium tour was delayed due to the Kung Flu but when did they announce it initially? Like 3 years after their "final show"? People here bitch about the Guns setlist... Motley Crue have basically been playing the same 14 song set greatest hits for 20 years now. They used to throw in a decent amount of deep cuts.. Train wreck.

Is it one of those guys you send the latest GNR releases, which he didn’t like?

    What about this?

I was sending to my cousin who is a big Black Crowes fan so he could hear the clip of the Pusher.  He is also a fan of Slash and some other artists on the album so he is looking forward to it and going to the show.  In general, I have heard nothing but positive reactions to Killing Floor though.. Aside from one friend who thought Hardschool was pretty good, I haven't heard anything positive on the GnR relesases outside of this board. I really haven't heard much interest in those songs at all tbh..

    Yeah, that snippet sounds awesome.

Do you remember VR covering Pink Floyd‘s Money? That started awesome too but that jam afterwards was not that good imo. I really hope for great instrumental parts apart from the song performance itself.

    I loved that Jam! hahah
