They were good. It was weird though, I couldn't figure out whether Billie Joe was miming on American Idiot - just because he was singing so fast, yet didn't seem to be breathing... but you have to play live on Jules Holland anyway don't you?

They played Boulevard of Broken dreams as well, and that was really good. I went to bed then, so dunno if they played any more.

Yeh, they played basket case as well which damn well rocked!

Im shocked, how can there be no mention of Faith No More, the only band brave enough to fuck with Axl instead of kiss his ass whilst they were touring together back in 92, especially after he'd supported them so much in the media, no other band would get away with this but they were a fucking great band and Axl knew this so he let them. For albums you got The Real Thing with its big crunchy Jim Martin guitar sound and little traces of funk scattered across the album, plus its got Epic, everybody loves that, then you got Angel Dust - the perfect LSD album, King For A Day with its harder edged, straight ahead sound and you have Album Of The Year which is really dark and just cool. Not forgetting the really weird stuff with the first vocalist Chuck Mosely on the first two albums, great band.
