  1. Was just listening to Knockin' On Heavens door from this years RIR and it really seems like GnR have spent a lot of time on the arrangement to this song and and im not sure if this has been said before but maybe theres a posibility this version could be on CD? It did come to light at the same time as The Blues, Magasgar etc..

    What do you guys think?

    SP

    I don't think so.

    I like this new version.

  2. So what was it that finally made Axl take the stage again? And why'd he have to do it in such a hasty manner that he could only find a guitarist a week before his shows?

Could it be that Axl's in financial trouble? We all know he leads a pretty expensive lifestyle - what with the Malibu castle and Splenda. Recently, he'd been selling off some luxury cars while facing off in some costly legal battles with the real members of Guns N' Roses.

Then suddenly, he's on tour again. But he didn't even have a guitarist ready. Had to make a list ditch effort to get someone to back him up. But why would the time be right for a tour if he didn't even have a full band?

Then he comes out wearing the exact same thing each night. Considering the camera crews, it seems like he's shooting a concert film.

hey shall we start a "Help Axl Out" charity? i now realise why he's rushing off from the gigs, he's got a p/t job in Mc Donalds :rofl-lol::rofl-lol::rofl-lol:

    Hehe

  3. I love how low standards are for this band.

    No album? Not necessary.

    No single? Eh...

Axl can't really sing that well? Who cares? It's not like he's a singer, or anything.

Axl loses his voice on the SECOND show of his "tour"? Poor Axl. He'll pull it together!

People around here were excited to see Axl interact with his bass player on stage. REALLY? That excites you? That Axl made ONE small gesture towards treating his musicians like an actual band?

And finally we have... at least the press isn't calling them a "freak show" this time!

This speaks to the power of denial.

Poor HisRoyalFatness. It seems that he hates Axl. He can't understand why people follow Axl.

  4. I'm just curious how people came to the assumption that these are demos. The reason I ask is because people seem to be using the defense "THEY'RE JUST DEMOS PEOPLE, DEMOS" to explain away any possible faults the songs have. When I was listening to some UYI demo songs last summer, I remember them being really rough, missing some "effects", and Axl would even say things briefly in between lyrics like "this will be changed" etc. While these on the other hand are quite polished sounding from a production prespective are they not, and Buckethead isn't around to do any tinkering anymore.

Are people just fooling themselves when saying this? Couldn't they actually be final versions? Or do you think the final versions of the songs will be quite different?

We'll know if these versions are ¨the final versions¨ when we hear Chinese Democracy.
