Lost my well paying job in the hospitality service once Covid started, my former employer decided that I (and 2 others who worked there for years) cost him too much. So he dropped us instead of the 18 year olds who make around €6,- (which right now is about the same as $6,-) an hour.

Since then I've been working from home (which is the best fucking thing in the world tbh) as a translator and copywriter. And as a lifelong gamer I can translate and type a lot of text in a short amount of time, so it pays really well. Also I get to decide when I work and how much I work.

It's great, it's the closest thing to freedom you're gonna get in today's society.

I expected this to happen between 2011 and 2014 or after the touring with AC/DC. Is it really that much worse now?

I have not been checking the recent performances because I figured it'd be more of what we got in recent years.

Amazing how Axl always give that extra push when he's performing with other artists. He showed up when Duff joined on stage in 2010, again with AC/DC, the start of the reunion in 2016 and now this.

It's still not really good but he's giving it his best shot. At least he's having fun.

I remember an alternative Live Era being around in the Limewire days. It had a few good ones if I recall.

This I Love can go. This is easier than I thought with this album.

Agreed. I do think Axl sounded great on it when they did it live in 2010, but the lyrics are horrible.

And then there was DJ doing the solo.

I wouldn't play it because of Axl's poor choice of words and the fact that 50-75% of my friend group isn't white.

But, here in Europe the slurs for black people and homosexuals don't hit as hard as they do in the US. The situation is very different from the US.

You're right. I kinda blocked the NITL version with Slash's solo, but even he doesn't do the song justice.

Sucks that we never got to hear Robin play it live.

It's been looking bad for 2 years now but to be fair that has more to do with how the government handles a situation like this, it's baffling.

I disagree. Chinese Democracy (the song) sounded like a 2000's version of GN'R. Which is exactly what it was.

It is one of the songs on the album where I actually prefer the finished song over the demo.

Hard Skool has a good chorus, but when Axl sings "...every chance was given" and whatever he sings in the second verse in the same ugly pitch almost makes me hate the song.

You go from that into full rasp on the chorus. 

I do however like what Slash and Duff did with the song. To bad the vocals are a lot older and a bit buried in the mix.

That said, Oklahoma was also veeeeery GN'R sounding. I'd love to hear whatever became of that demo.

I think it would be mainly the unfinished demos that all leaked (pretty much CDII I guess).

It wouldn't surprise me if the next song would be either Atlas Shrugged or a reworked Oh My God.

I wouldn't hold out for any UYI era leftovers.

So does this mean we're getting everything that leaked from the "Zutaut lockers".

If so I want Oklahoma with vocals. That song is the most GN'R sounding instrumental since the 90's.
