Axl wouldn't be suing if Azoff wasn't doing it in the first place.
So Axl strikes you as a "let bygones be bygones" kind of guy? I don't buy that.
-
And as far as Slash is concerned, who cares if he has an opinion? Who cares if he doesn't follow the case closely? You can know some details about something without following and knowing every little deatil. For example, I don't follow the Yankees but I know they're 4 games behind the Rays.

Really, couldn't the guy just say "No comment" and not stir the pot?
He always has to get his 2 cents in... then throw in a disclaimer, so he doesn't look bad - " Anyways, I don't keep up with that, I don't follow it."
Or maybe it was because he was doing an interview and the reporter asked him the question.
I agree with Orsys on this one.
I'm not a Slash hater and I don't necessarily disagree with him, but this pisses me off. I don't see why he has to stick his nose into this.
Even if he was just asked a question he can jus say that he "doesn't know anything and no comment"...
Yeah he should just keep his mouth shut. It has nothing to do with him. He doesnt know the in's and out's of the whole thing.
Oh the irony of this post.

Who signed off on that?

And why is Axl following her on twitter
And this person
Is it really any of your business? I can t believe how weird some people are. Does it keep you awake at night? Do you crave to be Axl Rose? Believe it or not, the guy actually has a life. And if you really respected that, you wouldn't be posting this weird stalking shit in here. Supporting a band is one thing, trying to pry into their personal lives is another.
How personal is anything posted on the internet? If you don't want it out there...

Kiss's latest album Sonic Boom entered the Billboard at No.2 and sold 108,000 in the first week, then tapered off afterwards. Chidem sold 261,000 copies(although entered the charts at No 3) and is considered a failure by a fair few(not me, i fucken love the album). Sonic Boom was released through Walmart(same as AC/DCs last album) and Kiss made a music video for their lead single. Kiss also did the whole PR stunts(performing on Letterman, interviews etc). It was also Kiss's first album in 11 years, although it wasn't as anticipated as Chidem. Kiss also has 2 out the of the original 4 members in the band. Was the Walmart promotion not up to par for the Kiss album as it was for AC/DCs(i don't live in the US so i don't know)? The point is, considering the similarities and circumstances, It still didn't sell half of what Chidem did in the States, so why is Chidem considered a failure in the US? Kiss had the advantage in almost every single aspect(music vid, Walmart, more original members, interviews, PR, Gene Simmons whoring the Kiss name to everything known to man ) Kiss's album was a return to form while Chidem was vastly different to old GnR(and anything out there) and still sold more.
Im interested to hear your thoughts. Why did the Kiss album not do so well compared to Chidem? Why did Chidem do double what Sonic Boom did? Please discuss
Why do album sales matter? Isn't it the quality of the album and not the number it sells? Isn't that what was said when CD didn't sell what some people anticipated?

Interesting. I wonder why he doesn't just come on stage earlier to avoid the fine....
he has little contempt for the people that bought tickets to his shows.
Well said!

Not at all. I find it funny when people make fun of the bands who slag Axl when they know nothing about said band. Lombardo's point stands no matter who posted it.
Dude...Not gonna bash Slayer because I'm a big Lombardo fan because of Fantomas, but, do you REALLY believe that the reason they "had such a lasting influence and cultural impact" is because they never cancelled a show ??
I mean Guns cancelled a shiiiiiiiiitload of shows but still had a huge influence and cultural impact so how is it a relevant answer ?
Not saying it's not true about Axl, but the answer has nothing to do with the question...unless Lombardo thinks it's the main reason why Slayer is an influential band...and then I don't get it.
I think he means it doesn't matter if it was the drummer from Slayer or a anyone else from another band, the point would be the same no matter who said it.

Nothing will ever put the old lineup to bed. Sorry, that's the way it is.

Question- Does anyone outside of the GN'R forums or does anyone in the media give a fuck about this? Or is it just typical forum bullshit that only GN'R fans care about?

Cool. Weird to hear Axl sing WTTJ in his normal voice. Was he going in and out of it for the whole song?

It's real. My cousin had one back in the day. I think it's red, IIRC. I'll see if I can find an old picture of him wearing it. I was always jealous that I never got one lol!
Should Axl consider the Celebrity Apprentice

I don't think it would go very well. The tasks usually have a deadline, and, well, you know...
