  1. I haven't checked out any Wu Tang albums, but Method's Tical and Dare Iz A Darkside by Redman were awesome albums.

Redman aint in the Wu Tang man, he's just good friends with Meth'...they even made a couple of albums together i think, Blackout i think was one, fuckin cool it was as well :):)

  2. There's a ton of snuff films usually the Japanese and European one's are the best.

I also watched Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer for the 2nd time.

    OTIS!! thats your sistteerrrrr!!

    EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are no real snuff movies man, its an urban myth..trust me, i've looked. although i've seen some pretty crusty kinda...weird documentries n stuff where people get waxed on film. Faces of Death i think is the closest but thats pretty much confirmed fake.

  3. Ever seen Begotten, frank?

no but i've been told i must...any good? whats it about?

Its definately disturbing, its along the lines of Eraserhead meaning it focuses more on mood than coherent plot. Its starts off with God killing himself, after that its anybodys guess.

Eraserheads fucking amazing...everything cinema should be...just looked on ebay theres a begotten...for fucking 30 bucks though...that means theres some funky ass shit to it :):)

Its floating about online, but I'd imagine you'd like the full experience of it. And yeah, Eraserheads great. I just watched it for the first time last week. I gotta watch more David Lynch.

you certainly have dear boy, try starting...what was i gonna say? yeah, Blue Velvet and Lost Highway if i may be so bold as to offer my reccomendation :D

  5. I think I read about that once! Is that the one where Ilsa torture all the POWs who can't give her an orgasm?

exactly...all sorts of weird nazi torture shit and concentration camp gang rapes and weird sex torture shit...fucked up

Hahaha, some nasty shit. The article I read about it in was about exploitation flicks - real interesting to read about, not so interesting to watch.

somebody get Zint into this fuckin thread, im sure he's seen some of these movies, im started to feel like a sick fuck :rofl-lol::rofl-lol:

frankie, you're a sick dude man.

where do you find these movies

actually, its all like a 70s thing? Exploitation movies like The She Wolf of the SS (which weirdly enough was filmed on the set of M*A*S*H)...its actually a phenomena started in your day (only pointing that out cuz it might be something you remember, not blaming you for it or anything ). pretty fucking morbid, i agree but some of them are just ridiculous, like the sort of blaxploitation end with movies like Blackbelt Jones and Blacula and The Black Gestapo  although, yeah, Illysa is pretty fucking extreme, makes you like....go eurgh y'know? and im not a queasy man...Street Trash is another example although i think thats an 80s movie...but yeah, that whole 60s/70s phenomena of movies like Deep Throat and I am Curious, Yellow and I Spit On Your Grave and all that shit getting banned all over the western world. its like a kid curiosity thing y'know? someone goes, you hear about it likes its the most fucked up thing in the world and its like, right, OK, im watching that shit  Men Behind The Sun, thats another one...freaky...but then you got movies like Basketcase about the weird siamese twins who're seperated at birth and this kinda...weird feotal mutant (who gets carried around in a basket) by his brother go looking for the doctor who did the operation and...y'know, its just too fucking silly to be considered on any serious level its just...grossness for its own sake in a way. i dunno, im not sure what reasoning i can put to why i watch this shit to be honest :rofl-lol:

  8. Been meaning to check em out.... Any pointers?

    36 Chambers

    Wu Tang Forever

    Only Built for Cuban Linx

    Tical - Method Man (i think you'd like that one :) )

for starters...personally i love ODB cuz he is (or was rather) a total fucking nutcase and it translates through his delivery so yeah, an ODB greatest hits might cool to sorta test out.

  9. I read about a Stones film from '68 once, by Jean Luc Godard. Could be interesting. If it's the Godard that Ray Manzarek talked about in The Doors movie, it could be even more interesting.

The only thing interesting about it is the footage of the Stones in the studio fleshing out the song Sympathy for the Devil. You get to see them feeling it out on acoustic guitar in the early stages, that's the cool part, seeing the fruition if one of the greatest rock songs ever.

The rest of it...well,I'll leave that up to you.If you're into Godard you might like it.

Keith attended the premiere of the movie in London...went back to the studio, walked in and proclaimed "it's a wank".

By the way,the movie is called Sympathy For The Devil and it was released on dvd.

I'd say it's for hardcore Stones fans only.

i've seen that. Got Eldrige Cleaver in there somewhere hasnt it? all those political monologues. Goddard fan y'see :)

  10. i think its amazing, i much prefer the proper long version cuz....theres not a lot too it otherwise. it works very well compacted dont get me wrong but....maybe i listened to a lot of that stuff stoned or something for too long a period of my life but The Doors and all their soloing was/is like a fucking orgasm :)

  11. As you can probably tell from my name, I am a big Wu Tang Clan fan. My favorite albums are LiquidSwords and Beneath the surface both by Gza and 8 diagrams, the new Wu Tang album and Only built for Cuban Linx by Raekwon. ANy other Wu fans here?

fans?!?! are you fucking kidding me!!!!!!! i LOVE Wu Tang, i have every single album of theirs right up until the one that came out after W :):) and thats including all their solo stuff by Meth' and ODB and Raekwon and BOBBY DIGITAL, HIP HOP CYBORG and oh just all of it, love em :):) love em love em love em!!!

  12. But Dylan is definitely not the sit-alone-with-his-accoustic-guitar type of guy anymore, like most people picture him.

shame, thats how i'd like to see him. theres something so intense about that kind of performer :) by the way, did you ever get into Woody Guthrie? i really think you'd like him :)

    Yeah, me too. :(

Well, I've read up about him a little, and he sounds like a really cool guy. "This machine kills fascists" He was a huge influence on Bobby too, him and Donovan even went to visit him at the hospital when he started to go crazy. But I never really got into him, no. Does he have any good compilations? Like a "Essential Woody Guthrie" or something?

theres tons of em yeah, pretty easy to spot to in any Woody Guthrie section in any record store, pick it up man :) theres a docu bout him too thats really cool :):)

  13. There's a torrent floating around called Ladies and Gentelmen: The Rolling Stones which is a concert film from the Exile on Mainstreet tour. Apparently it was never officially released, but the reviews say it is an excellent portrayel of the Stones at arguably their peak.

i just saw that on ebay but u gotta fuckin bid and all that shit but im gonna...i heard it was only released in australia or somethin :) whatever, im fuckin havin it!!

  14. Scorcese did a great job..it's actually a great depiction of where the Stones are at today.

    1973's over...

no its not, i saw it on tv yesterday damn you

easy for you to say you bar-steward, you got to see it  all i got is fucking Spice Girls, im allowed to delude myself..

  15. But Dylan is definitely not the sit-alone-with-his-accoustic-guitar type of guy anymore, like most people picture him.

  16. His 80s stuff too? I think I need to read some reviews before going any further.

Yeah, I want to see him too! But I hear he isn't so good live nowadays.

no i jus meant the post 75 stuff within the framework of the 70s, like street legal and the basement tapes (which i love). i've not heard the 80s stuff myself. not so good in what regard?

Aah, ok. I agree, I love The Basement Tapes - Bob Dylan with The Band is just awesomeness.

Well, my brother saw him back in 2004 or something, and he told me that Bob altered all the songs to the degree that he didn't even recognize "Lay Lady Lay" when Bob played it. And my brother is a huge Dylan fan, even more so than myself.

how the fuck can you alter them so much? thats interesting that is...you should ask him like, altered how, in what sense? cuz they're pretty straight songs..not a lot of room for alteration in this sense.

  18. I'm too afraid to check out Bob's 80s, 90s and 00s material. :scared: I love his pre-'75 stuff so bad, I'm afraid I'll be disappointed. I did like Modern Times and "Love and Theft", so perhaps I should just leap into the rest...

its not ever so bad...at least i dont think so :) i'd really love to go see him live!!
