  1. Hold in the menu button and the center button at the same time, putting it on a flat surface like a table can help as sometimes it doesn't recognize the fact that you're pressing both in. That should reset it, won't delete anything off either.

  2. Can't wait for this album, it's good to see they haven't tried to stray away from their roots and are just playing good ol' dirty rock again. Was a great performance on Kimmel too, the band looked great and Vince sounded really fucking good.

  3. I'm watching Tim Burton's Big Fish right now, what an amazing movie! I really like Ewan McGregor.

And I'm going on a class trip to Berlin next week, so I've downloaded these movies to bring with me:

    Wrong Turn

    Wrong Turn 2

    Cloverfield

    Smokin' Aces

    Hostel

    Atonement

    There Will Be Blood

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

    Charlie Wilson's War

Couldn't agree more, McGregor is fantastic in it and the whole feel of that movie is just great.

  4. Just watched a video for MGS 4. Looks like MAYBE best game ever only next to GTA IV. Savin up for a PS3 so i can buy one for MGS 4.

Best game of this year? Definitely.

Best game ever? Fuck no, it'll never beat the original.

  5. Sorums drumsolo. You know the part where he stands up to get some applause, and everybody think the drumsolo is over, and he sits down and continue for 5 more minuts. That's amazing.

It's a very good solo, but he really should have mixed it up a little more and maybe cut it down a bit in length, although I do love when Duff just pops up out of nowhere behind him and helps out.

  6. For me, Cobain and Buckley are the two greatest losses in the world of music.

It's too bad that he wasn't given the time to really stretch his range. Everyone knows him as the alternative grunge guy, but he had a varied catalogue of interests. He was inspired by New Wave and he was gonna go off into alien territory following In Utero.

This is an absolutely side-splitting performance on Top of the Pops. For those of you who aren't familiar with the format of the show, it's basically artists performing onstage, but it's all synched. I don't know why Kurt's mic is live because they usually synch that too, but the outcome is just balls to wall hilarity.

Love that performance, utter brilliance!

  7. He's playing Thunder Bay??

Yeah! Its his third time here. And he loves playing here.

The first time he came here was 2004 I believe, my friend told me. I said "Yeah right. I don't believe you"

Then I hear an announcement on the radio. OMG he wasn't lying!!

But yeah we don't get much for concerts here.

Lately we've been getting a few good ones.

..you guys actually have a hockey rink up there or something?? :tongue2:

Seriously...that's cool man,I know what a big fan you are!

    congrats!

    Thanks.

yeah I've been a fan of his pretty much my whole life. I have two older brothers who are also big fans, so I grew up on Alice.

We do have a hockey rink The Fort William Gardens. It holds about 5,000 people for concerts. But he's not playing there, he playing at an auditorium that holds about 3,000 people.

    I've been a fan since '71.

I didn't get to see him until the Special Forces tour in London. Our local rink (at that time) held about 6,000 people (saw many a cool show there over the years).

It was fuckin cool to actually see my all time rock hero standing in front of me...it was like "mission accomplished,I can die happy now". B)

(note:I actually have a brief clip of footage from the show, there was a news segment on t.v. about it,if I find it,I'll youtube it).

Dude how fuckin old r you???

Why, is there a recommended age for rocking out now?

  8. I like KISS, but I don't understand why they don't let the guys come up with the OWN characters like they did in the early 80's.

That way they find their own identity, and they don't steal the image of Ace & Peter.

Same here, it's pretty lame to just dress them up as Frehley and Criss, complete with the same solos and moves.
