i just called BB through their big customer service number. I talked to a rep who searched it in the computer and there was nothing.

Like I said, their computer is the same as BestBuy.com. You would have had to talk to someone who is either a huge GNR fan, or just happened to hear about the press conference and rumors.

I called two local Best Buys, and they had no clue what I was talking about. So they looked it up in their system (which is the same thing as searching on BestBuy.com) and found nothing, which is what I expected.

This guy could be telling the truth, if the manager is a fan or has connections.

Wow Finck has had so many looks. In 2002 I swear he looked like a counterpart of Buckethead.

Then in 06/07 he looked like Jesus.

In that pic he just looks chill and cool.

While the 1 million first week sales would certainly be a big number, I think it's plausible.

I know a couple of people who are buying between 10-20 copies of the album to hand out friends, family, and others.

Others may be less zealous, but are still buying multiple copies. The GN'R fanbase will hopefully pick up the slack.

Many non-GN'R fans are interested in the album purely because of all the hype and mystery over the years, and

one would hope that Management has a good promotion plan formulated to generate interest of the casual crowds.

I identify a lot with the new songs and really hope that it succeeds.

I'm probably gonna buy 3-4, plus my parents are both Guns fans (yes, they are NU-GNR fans too because of me ), so they will probably each pick up a copy themselves.

I'd bet lots of money it comes out this year. The exact date, however, is still a mystery to us.

This is just another article to pile on with the others. Nothing really new here...and in no way does it imply we'll have a tracklist and cover art by tonight..

How was the new intro? - It sounded similar, maybe a little more drums.

How many people stayed and listened to it? - Everyone because it starts playing during the movie.

Did you hear anyone comment on it? - I was sitting with a bunch of stuffy new yorkers.

Did it end in any special way or just fade out? It just faded out.

That is also awesome that it starts during the end of the movie, so everyone will probably hear some of it.

I really hope they know something we don't....even though they say its tentative.

Oh, well I kinda just joined this community a few days ago. So I wouldn't know.

But if you are like me and didn't know the relation between the two, you would have to say that there is no way to relate them...

That is far from a shot at GNR. I'm pretty sure any fan of any band would like to hear about tour dates soon.

I just think you are upset because GNR hasn't updated us on what's going on...
