It threw me with him speaking, that was evident with how much she meant to him. It took a lot of balls to do such an isolated performance, especially I’m sure with him knowing how emotional it would be for him.

Wow. Incredible that he’s doing that for someone that obviously held a special place in his heart. Amazing.

I bought the Crash Bandicoot remastered trilogy on the PS5 along with the GTA remastered trilogy. Making my way through GTA III currently and it’s surreal playing it after all those years!
On the topic of the SNES, I bought a few Wrestling games for it today. Brought down the console and games the other day from the loft so I’ll get onto that at some point soon!

Macca got mixed reviews last year. Half crucified him, the rest took it for what it was, an 80 year old putting on a spectacle. I hope GNR will be streamed in their entirety, but there will be a lot of shit from casuals sent their way.
I’m tempted to go given it’ll be their first time there, but I’ll wait and see what happens in regard to music dropping between now and then.

For those wondering about Glastonbury, a user commented about Duff mentioning it on his Radio Show. Here it is:

The promotion for the Locked N' Loaded boxset was superb. Apps to trace down posters, billboards etc, they seemed to be everywhere. I'd love to see a new release get similar treatment.

Atlas is probably my favourite GNR tune, however, I'm hard pressed to pick and it's always subject to change. What the album and what was on the Village Sessions showcase, at least to me, that Axl had a lot of tunes to give that new lineup a lot of momentum and create a significant impact in their own right.

It’s a no from me regarding Slash and Duff working on already released songs. There is no need, Chinese would only suffer as a result.
Let them fill their boots on the rest of the sessions that didn’t see the light of day though. I’d love a double album of the very best of the Chinese sessions and new recordings from them, but it’ll sadly never happen.

Paul Tobias' farewell shows and the last performance of Silkworms for 20 "F'N" years!!! As curious as I am to hear anything from those shows, for me, nothing will top seeing that proshot of the House of Blues for the first time. From start to finish, I don't think Axl has put on a better vocal performance. Given the small stage, it was essentially studio quality vocals for the duration, along with the debut of new tunes and the new lineup. In an ideal world, I'd have been in attendance for the 4 shows in 2001 and I'd have gladly never seen Guns again. Big claim, but I hold that lineup in really high regard.

Fuck. I just woke up to that news. Absolutely wild. She must’ve been absolutely shattered at losing her laddie a few years back. So sad. RIP
