Not only is the bands management very aware of the situation, they're also very aware that Alfred and flojo have threatened families over it

On top of that, Del James made it his business to insult the people who had their families threatened.

Super nice organization over there in TB.

don't forget del james also posted copyrighted bootleg of another band on youtube after he lectured everyone about posting GNR bootlegs.

  2. One of our awesome subscribers went to one of Richard Fortus' recent appearances in Chicago and sent me a summary of what happened. He asked Richard about the new album and it's summarized below. Richard also talked about how Melissa joined the group (she dated brain) and more!

    – I asked him if the new GnR album would sound more like a classic GnR album, something closer to a Chinese Democracy sound, or if it’s even evolved into a more modern sound than that. Fortus said the sound will be even different and more evolved than Chinese Democracy.

"Never before seen" photos and interview surfaces on the Internet? Huh. I remember this well. More specifically, I remember trawling local newspaper around the time of the 1993 Edmonton gig trying to find information about this elusive show, resulting in a lot of the images and interviews in your article. And posting them to Appetite for Discussion already back in 2014. http://www.a-4-d.com/t1998-1993-03-28-northlands-coliseum-edmonton-canada The rest of the articles and interviews stems from @Blackstar's more recent work.

This is how we do it. We spend a lot of our time trying to dig up articles and clips that are otherwise lost to the fan community, through paid subscriptions to newspaper archives and free repositories. Every image in your article comes from A4D.

The only thing that doesn't come from A4D is the youtube vid of Matt in your article, but Matt is talking about the Chile gig in December 1992 and not the 1993 Edmonton show.

my friend sent these ones to me, but later told me a4d was involved so i credited it to you guys

What about calling them, didn't you buy a bundle to call them overseas, also saying the rather pick up the phone than responding to emails/
I think @sidman69 won a dispute with the IFPI last week and it took at least a month for YT to decide that!!!

yeah it also helps to have friends at youtube....

Duff is out doing the press rounds! Marc Maron's podcast is usually more of a one-shot, evergreen kind of deal than a stop on a promo-circuit... I've listened to half so far... lot of retread about how much he reads () and travels around in the first 20 mins (the interview is almost an hour and a half) ... so far I liked the part about how Slash sometimes leaves his body on stage and how he had his signature sound almost as soon as he picked up the guitar -- but anyway, check it out!

did Duff talk about punk rock? I've never heard him do that before

55 minutes? Are you fucking kidding me?

there's some interesting stuff at the end where he defends axl over one in a million and talks about being confronted by a flight attendant over the song. Of course he keeps mum on any gnr stuff. He also talks about axl tweeting
