  1. Only on a GNR board can you say you don't like one member of the band and have 500 fangirls calling for you to be banned.

    troll_detected.png

talk about selling crap with your name on it

    SLASH STORE

1000$ an autographed plaque? Since when do we have to pay that much for a f'n signature of Myles Kennedy guitar player? (notice how I can cupcake like you?)

Slash cupcakes... They never fail to amuse me. It's a shame they make me hate a guy I loved so much...

By the way, sorry mulletboys but original GnR never gonna reunite.

    U mad brah?

  2. I hope it's in the vein of Shackler's revenge, Scrapped with songs like Sorry with this gloomy feeling all along the slower songs.

I also hope there are epic moments like the masterpiece that prostitute is...

  3. Laparka, I think that Axl just isn't obsessed with it like some posters on here are.

Nothing any of them say now is going to change anything. They all have their own version and reality of what happened.

No matter what Anybody says, a few posters on here will still blame Axl for everything that has ever went wrong in the world, so what's the point?

Slash, Duff, Izzy and Axl have moved on with their lives and careers......but a few posters cant. Weird.

    Totally agree.

But I'm sure some old members only recently moved on, preventing Axl from doing anything relevant with current GnR.

    that's just my guess.

  4. I find speculation over the breakup hilarious. I wasn't there, none of you were there, hell, Slash and Duff were too fucked up to even be considered being there. All this bullshit depends on who you want to demonize.

They were grown men that had a dispute, of course they are going to blame each other. At least they were mature enough to go their seperate ways, I wish I could say that about some of the posters here.

Even more reason for "the sober one" (axl) to speak up.

I think he's too busy to care.

    For the last 15 years?

It's pretty obvious that it's not high on his list of priorities. Besides, it gives the reunionists something to whine about. How interesting would this place be without that?

Yeah I know what you mean, but at the same time he did address slash (in the Axl type way) that he does, but instead of putting out a well-worded release about Slash he basically did an "interview" with Billboard (del james) and rambled about various things and called slash a cancer.

Now us fans on here its more of a 50/50 or maybe even a higher percentage side with Axl. But what the general public do is read a book by its cover, and thats what is killing Axl in the mainstream. THEY see axl come on here and cuss people out, then disappear during a time most people would be promoting a new album, only to do the billboard thing. Which left the general public with an even worse taste in their mouths than what they had before. Then THEY see slash "being a good ole' boy" playing with every artist around, playing the superbowl, doing radio interviews and when asked about Axl he is very cordial about him.

    So at the end of the day Axl looks like a dick, and slash looks like angel. Most of the general public hasn't sifted through "chinese whispers" and every other little tid bit of info we get on here to know that there is more to the whole thing than what they see. All axl would have to do is say something like this;

"I know everyone has wondered for such a long time about what happened with the original guns, and I hope people will understand that over the years there were many lawsuits that were handed to me due to issues within guns, so I felt it would be better to wait to explain things. And I will mainly address the "falling out" slash and I had, as most (if not all) of you are most interested in that. Slash was a vital part to the early days of guns, but as time went by his drug/alcohol abuse (as he admitted to in his own book) got to be too much for himself to handle, and it also took its toll on me. But I tried to work through things with him,but as time went on I quickly realized that his musical interests and mine were completely different and he simply would not budge from the "bluesy hard rock" sound, and as I and the band tried to evolve from every album we put out, slash wanted to keep making music that sounded like 1990. That and watching fellow bands from the 80's becoming "jokes" in the eyes of public once grunge hit the scene.

So (as slash mentioned in his book) I met with him to gain ownership of the "guns" brand, As I felt it was the best interest of the band (and legacy of the band) including myself to gain some sort of control before things spun too far out of control. Once I had ownership of the "guns" name slash quickly left and did many interviews over the years bad mouthing me. And it became a line in the sand situation with my people on this side, and slashs people on the other. So I was left with no band, no support and lots of lawsuits. And while I have noticed over the years slash has taken a lighter approach about me when he is asked in interviews, things are great with the current version of guns and I have no interest in reverting to the early guns."

But Axl does things his way on his time, but it is frustrating to see him not answer anything with a direct response. But hell, all I want is some new music from this band.

    This

I'm sure there are dozens of lawsuit on Axl's back preventing him from releasing GnR stuff and talking about the old Guns break-up...

  5. Glad I'm not the only one who wasn't able to get tickets right away. I mean, shit, I knew they would sell out the first day, but I thought I had a bit longer than til 10:02 to get them...

Trying Craig's list. Trying ANYTHING I can to get to this thing.

Oh no Bobbo, you're gonna miss the big parking lot rumble between the Slash dingleberry chewers and the Axl nut huggers. What will they do without you? Don't feel too bad though, I'm skipping out too. I never had an interest to go see Slash, Matt and Steven accept an award. Then again, Duff might show too, he's popping up everywhere I hear. Still no interest on my part though.

I couldn't care less about "Axl vs Slash" bullshit. This is one of my favorite bands, and I wanted to be there in person for it, simple as that.

Even if Axl is a no show, it'll be great honoring the people that made GNR what it is, and all the rest of them will probably be there. I personally don't mind Myles singing the songs, especially with most of the people who contributed to them backing him up, so it won't be that much of a loss for me. And Chili Peppers will be there too, so that's another plus for me.

    heart-attacks_0.jpg

then if you don't mind Myles singing GnR tunes while the appetite line-up gets unducted to the HOF, please NEVER COMPLAIN AGAIN about the actual line-up!

Then why not including Tommy, BBF or even Josh Freese, they belong there far more than Myles Kennedy!

    you're a bloody hypocrit!

  6. Can't access, got that ctrl shit.

    Try this:

    http://web.gunsnroses.com/

Whenever I type in just gunsnroses.com it takes me to an error page. Maybe that will help?

    Thank you. Finally worked.

    On a side note:

    $275.50 for VIP Package? Cheap!

Is it cheap?? How much are they usually?

The VIP packages for KISS for example are around $400 without a meet & greet and nearly $1000 with the meet & greet. Both packages give you a reserved seat within the first few rows, limited tour posters and shirts, an additional $100 towards other merchandise, and so on. So yes, the Guns N' Roses one is pretty cheap, especially since a regular ticket for a Guns show is about $100 after fees anyways if there isn't a sale/promotion going on with the half-price tickets.

The difference is, you get to meet Gene and Paul, with this you won't be meeting Axl.

    Proof or GTFO!

  7. I never thought I'd see the day Duff opened for 'GNR'...... Jeez

    LA

    I agree "Jeez"!

I find it incredibly amusing that some can't take the fact that Duff is showing support for the new band :)

    Ali

    Sure you do!

Aw, does it really bother people that Axl and Duff can accept where they are at and have made peace with the past, while also show a willingness to embrace the present and future? That's sad.

    Ali

Fuck man, dont get your mum's panties in a twist...

I was just saying I never thought I'd see the day. Will be fuckin weird for Duff, opening for his old band. Not just any band, a Hall of Fame band, that he helped create. Then he has to leave the stage so someone can come on and play his songs..... But hey, if Duff is cool with it, more power to him. Shows he's more mature than all the alumni - Axl included. Anyway, the audience know the score.........

Was just being objective - I aint gonna lose any sleep over it

    LA

    Duff left.

The day he did that, he knew someone would take his place and play his songs...

Nobody pointed a gun to his head, forcing him to open for Guns n' Roses.

  8. There are dozens of songs I'd rather hear before Coma

    OMG

    Silkworms

    Any new songs

    TWAT

    Catcher

    Locomotive

    RNDTH

    Perfect crime

    DTJ

    BRING DON'T DAMN ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
