Then those newGuns fans say that "you're just comparing it to Appetite and Illusions and don't want to realize that Guns has "evolved""...
First of all I didn't make any comparisons to previous records, just listened it with open mind but no I still think it's bullshit, really strange record =/
It takes ZERO fucking balls to say CD was shit. Everyone and their mother says it was shit, even many people who never heard the album will tell you this.
And why you think many many many people will say it sucks? And please don't tell me cause Slash isn't no more arround.

yea that album was pertty garbage axl sounded like a 70 year old prostitue who was so hoarse from smoking too much and the guitars sounded like chainsaws and other techno studio add ins and useless rave effects. seriously, the most disgusting album to the senses of all time. the guitarists were so terrible they restoretd to playing random noises as solos, see shacklers. Better, which as most people see as the only tolerable song sounds like linkon park mixed with kanye west or some shit, horrible. only decent song was catcher in the rye but thats easilly the worst gnr song of all other than my world and i say that cuz the rest of CD cant even be called music, its just random noise with studio effects that sound like a 10 year old added in

The whole album is just too experimental..listen to Riad and the Bedouins, I mean what the FUCK?!?!? The intro of the song is like from
outer space, maybe distant alien race would listen to it but yeah.......The other song I can't stand is Scraped, it sounds like Axl is trying to impress someone with his talking (Don't you try to stop us now, probably referring to his newband)...I mean the lyrics are shit.

My problem with the whole album with me was, it was overproduced industrial, computer generated, techno, rap bullshit and not a rock record...
Listen to if the world, sounds like fucking Jay-Z...
How in Gods name does it sound like Jay-Z? Ha!
Listen to the drum beats of that song, sounds like hiphop song..

I´m really and deeply disgusted by some of the comments I´ve read in here. Some people need to get a life. I can´t understand why so much hate and anger towards Axl and I can´t understand why they take all this stuff so personal either. It was pretty obvious that this was going to be a no win situation, it´s always been like this with Axl since the so called "fans" are NEVER happy, no matter he does things right or wrong there are always the bitter ones who are ready to start the bashing fest in a heart beat.
Whether you agree or not with his decision of not attending and not being inducted, why can´t you fucking respect it? It´s his decision not yours and if he wants it all this way, so be it.
I don't respect it because it's not a respectable decision. You don't want to show up? Fine. But releasing this letter and playing victim yet again, is just low. It makes him look ridiculous, and it's truly painful to see him that way.
People supporting this are being very foolish and blind IMO.
Better blind than being a cry baby and hoping for something that'll never happen. Not at this lifetime....
But yet you all wanna hear them cover the Appetite, Lies and Illusion songs.
What has that to do with the whole story?
If Axl wants nothing to do with the classic line-up he better stop using the classic songs.
Why should he stop using his own songs? Leave them to whom? The likes of Fergie?

It's the way he treats his former bandmates and his glorified past in general - demonizing everything that has to do with it but still doing a live set which consists of song that are 80 % from this time = cash grab deluxe.

Have you been following the RNRHOF before GN'R got nominated? Madonna is inducted, some other shit artists are inducted while some good bands still aren't.

Exactly, Axl always blames everybody and tries to hide his anger/bitterness which is kind of sad..I think Axl's issues are really deep-rooted and time has made them even worse, feel sorry for the guy =/
I think we GnR fans are really worried about Axl, since we are BIG family who cares the man DEEPLY!! To me and many many more fans this is sad that he can't act like grownup and just take his award with respect to fans
but in the end the ones that are gonna suffer are the fans and their loyalty to GnR..Peace.
