  1. Yeah, I am not disputing that your shirt has a nice print...or that it feels nice to wear or whatever... ...I am simply saying that it will very likely be a different type of Gildan shirt, with the tag removed and a label added in print. The link I shared previously even mentions the removable tags as a feature, and mentions you can basically re-brand them.
  2. Here's a page detailing some of the different types of Gildan shirts... https://www.t-shirtwholesaler.com/blog/material-features-treatment/what-gildan-style-is-best-for-your-needs Those descriptions also indicate that the shirts from the gigs themselves are likely just the 'Heavy Cotton' variants...
  3. As I said, disregarding the print, the shirts from the gigs might be a different type, but are probably still Gildan shirts - just a different variant (i.e. Gildan Heavy Cotton instead of Gildan Softstyle or whatever). I have an event shirt from London 2017 from the gig, with a printed label instead of a tag, and yeah it might be thicker, but I'd bet it is still a Gildan shirt. As I said, if you look at the printed label on shirts purchased at 2023 gigs, they say made in Bangladesh. The merch truck ones are also made in Bangladesh when you look at the tag. So yeah, Gildan Softstyle shirts from the merch trucks, might be a little thinner softer feeling (matching the softstyle label), but shirts from the gigs will still be Gildan...just not SoftStyle.
  4. I ordered the Glasgow event tee from the Merch Truck, simply because it had sold out at the venue after the gig. As I was gold circle etc, I didn't go to the merch stand before the gig as I didn't wanna lose my spot (was on barrier). My Merch Truck event shirt seems decent enough to me too.
  5. Okay, disregarding some differences in print designs for the event shirts, and based on what some have said, print quality too...the designs on all but one of the non-event shrits are exactly the same. Arguably the designs should just be the same for the event shirts anyway, but whatever. And the merch is official from the truck. Also this thing about the actual garments/shirts themselves being super different is really speculation and likely not true at all. Yes they have a printed label instead of a tag. However, the tags can just be removed. The shirts from the gig say 'made in Bangladesh', on the printer neck label. Guess where the Gildan shirts are made according to the tag... ...Bangladesh. 😉 Gildan is the most common brand nowadays for shirts used to print band merch on. If it feels slightly different, it is most likely just a different variation - i.e. Instead of Gildan Softstyle, it could be Gildan Heavy cotton. All the merch will use Gildan or some other basic shirt brand (such as Fruit of the Loom), this idea people have gotten that suddenly the stuff from a show is printed onto a massively better quality of garment with some ultra high quality fabric is a bit crazy tbh. Band merch at all shows is printed onto basic tees, for minimum cost and max profit. That's simply fact. It's where they make their money. We pay a premium because we want official merch, simple as that.
  6. It really was a good night. Locomotive would've been cool. And There Was A Time too. Can't complain though, they were superb. They never disappoint. 😁
  7. I had kinda hoped yeah. Haha. That being said, they played 8 tracks from the GN'R back catalogue that I had never saw them play live before: Bad Obsession, Pretty Tied Up, Hard Skool, Absurd, Down on the Farm, Reckless Life, Shadow of Your Love, Anything Goes. Pretty Tied Up is one of my favourite UYI tracks so to see that livr was amazing. Also amazing to hear Hard Skool and Absurd too. Plus they did Slither and the covers of AC/DC - Walk All Over You and Glenn Campbell - Wichita Lineman. None of which I'd seen before.
  8. Ahh right. I've tried both mine and my parents' addresses. No luck with either.
  9. Hey, has anyone successfully ordered the Glasgow shirt from the Merch Truck site? I put in my address and it said they don't ship to it. Is the website for US only?
  10. In my hotel at the moment. Charging phone, then gonna grab my food and head the box office. So excited to see them again. Last saw them at London Stadium in 2017. (First saw them at Download Festival 2006.)
  11. Thanks for the assist there. I'd not have considered that. Managed to get an Early Entry Golden Circle Package for a fair bit cheaper than the £289 price the actual listed tickets were at.
  12. Can anyone advise what the differences are with certain ticket options on ticketmaster for the glasgow show? There is a Guns N' Roses VIP ticket option for £177 - this says it includes access to the Golden Circle. However there is also a Gold Circle Standing Ticket for £191.05. Is this basically the same ticket?
