  1. He posted this today:

I know that I promise some answers within the week. There has been a tremendous response from the South America Montage. Just on the first day of the release, I received over 80 plus emails. After a week, It's been a long read of amazing complements and questions. Those questions have been sorted out and today I'm going to answer the ones that I feel are necessary. There's only so much I can answer without addressing these questions to the GNR team. My answers will be veritable as possible. Hopefully for those of you, this will shed some light.

"I was wondering when a DVD will be released? I know that they were shooting for every venue. When can we expect that?"

This was the most common question. As you know, our team was shooting the documentary of only the South America tour. GNR hired another crew to shoot for DVD. The DVD crew shot every venue, there for, they'll be releasing a DVD for each venue in PAL. As for the expected date of release, I'm sorry, I would not know that. It could take quite some time.

"Is GNR planing to release a full documentary with the South America tour footage? If so, when can we see it? Are they planning on releasing it this year?"

Yes, of course. Now that doesn't mean that the "Full" documentary will be all South America. It can be a documentary base on the band and their journey, which means, involving other tours as well. As for a given release date, I'm going to have to shake my head on this one as well. I have no idea. Documentaries can take a while. That's up to the GNR Team.

"What's the montage for? Is this footage a snippet of an official release or is this montage as far as the footage goes in terms of what we'll see officially?"

I'm glade a dozen of you asked this question regarding the montage. The montage was something that I wanted to do, and yes, I was given promise to do so. What you see in the montage will most likely be seen in the documentary. That being said, you can look at it as a snippet of what you'll be seeing in the documentary. Trust me, I wanted to add more to the montage but it would be way to long. Knowing that we shot over 60 hours of footage. There's a lot of great material that we captured and I'm sure will be seeing it sometime soon.

These questions were most common when sorting my emails. If you have any other questions, please go to the vimeo page where the video lives and post a comment with your question. I'll make sure to answer any of your questions/concerns. I know that some of my answers weren't what you expected but I hope you understand.

Holy shit! It's really happening. A full documentary and DVD, cool!

  2. Cool. We still need Slash though.

He's to busy playing with Fergie and Rihanna to try and stay relevent to the times. Before we know it, he'll be playing with Justin Beiber.

Sad to think in a way, Izzy and Duff has rekindled their relationship with Axl, Steven is still palying rock songs in small venues, but Slash has to play with current pop acts and have a cringeworthy performance on the VMA's. He is a prostitute of himself, living in fortune and shame.

Give it up, Slash on stage will be a 100% shock and is the most impossible thing to happen. If Slash and Axl ever shared the stage together, it would be a blessing. I just don't see it happening, ever. Axl said, "one of them will die before they reunion." What more do you need.

There actually were a picture taken of Slash and Justin Beiber recently. I saw it on Twitter

    :(

  3. Maybe Steven needs to suck Axls dick for a job seeing how it gets him crack you never know.

Maybe Steven should just move on with his life. Sure, he loved his time with Guns, and he probably would give his left leg to be do it again, but I just think maybe if he looked torwards the future, he would have a better life.

He really needs to just get with the times.

Maybe if he didn't keep smoking heroine after he singed the contract to stop he would still be playing with them from time to time. Axl probably won't even recognize him.

    Well, that didn't take long.

  5. Cool. We still need Slash though.

  6. I'm not just saying it, but honestly, that performance of YCBM is probably one of the best I've seen in ages. There's just something about it - you can feel the chemistry immediately. Axl even looks and sound better. One thing I immediately noticed is that he just looked and sounded more...energetic. His voice wasn't getting drowned out as much as it often does, either. It's weird but true.

I agree, that performance of YCBM was really good. Axl sounded great and just see Duff and Axl on stage is just unbelievable.

I hope we see Duff on stage with them more, maybe sing Attitue or something.

  7. Judging by the footage we have seen Axl seems really really really happy with Duff on stage with him / Duff did also, now we are just waiting for Slash/Stevens/Izzy's/Sorums response, i mean, maybe Duff might convince the other guys to have a big therapy meeting an talk about things? im wondering what Axl & Duff did after the show? needless to say this was the greatest moment on this tour since Axl new hairstyle!

Funny fact is that Axl has met with all the GNR members.

He hasn't talked to Slash in 20 years. No even a phone call. Give it up, a full fledged reunion is really not possible. I have a feeling if Duff and Izzy were on stage with GN'R, that would be the closest we would have to a reunion.

Slash said he turned down a 8 figure sum to reunite some time ago and Axl said one of them will have to die before a reunion.

I'm just happey to see Duff on stage with GN'R again, how long has it been, 17 years?

Steven will probably be thinking why not me? He still lives in 1987.

Izzy played with them in 2006 and probably could care less about Duff onstage. Not saying he hates Duff, he probably just doesn't care about a reunion.

Sorum and Slash will probably be thinking like, "oh shit, he's playing with Guns, now what'll we gonna do about Relvolver." See as though Axl was their "enemy" in the media, I think Duff might have a few choice words to say to them about Axl.

    I

  8. I dont think Axl will ever let go of the guys who was with him for the past 10-12 years, but i like the guest-appreances by ex-GNR members & I Think we will see alot more of it!

I hopre so. I think appearances of former members, excluding Slash, is more possible than see all of them on stage together. But, I never though I would so anyone but Izzy on stage with new GN'R. I hope we see Izzy and Duff on stage together with GN'R, that would be cool.

I think if they we to reunite, I would do wonders for Axl in the media, but I don't think the full band will be on stage together again. I think it's more possbile for them to havel ike a 10 show U.S. reunion our, release an new single, than go off on their own again.

But, we got 2 out of the 5. Duff and Izzy. I hope we see Duff on stage more with GN'R.

I wonder what the future of Velvet Revolver might hold now, seeing as though Duff was playing with GN'R, I wonder what's gonna go down between them.

  9. Oh My God!

Duff was onstage with Guns N' Roses, I had no idea! That's so cool.

I saw a picture of Duff onstage with GN'R, but I though it was just a photoshop.

Axl said in the Del James interview he would do something with Duff, but fuck! All we need now is Izzy to play at a concert with DUff there too. That may be the closest we get to a reunion. Unless Steven is at the venus.

What happened when Duff went on stage? Did Axl introduce him?

  10. What I don't understand is why bands do this. It lets people hear the full album for free. It just doesn't make sense. I think this is one of the reason's album sales are so low, this and iTunes and torrents. At least have just 30 seconds clips, not the entire album. I 'm gonna wait to get the album instead of listening to it now.

wait, you're seriously complaining about that?

    wow

Well, not really anymore. I Just think it's wierd to do this, but f it helps people wanna buy the album, than go ahead.

I just think that straaming the album full album can either help or hurts album sales.

I went against my word and listened to it, so I really don't care anymore.

  11. from Del James' facebook

Well, then Del James' facebook is THE most pathetic place on the internet. If it wasn't for Slash as 1 of the 5 originals, then Mr. Del 'the short story man that build the base of the November Rain clip' James would be working at Target with a big ass fugly wife waiting for him at home in the trailer. An yes, Dj sounds fucking awesome and is the best thing that happened to GNR in the last 10 years (apart from Del missing a GNR show because of a failed hair transplant)....but Dj can't top this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B35oRdqR5Gg

That, ladies and gentleman, is a 10 out of 10 score. It does NOT get any better than that...with NObody...not Bucket, not Ron, not Richard, not Dj, not Robin, and not Paul Tobias.

AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO RE-CREATE A MOMENT LIKE THIS:

So enjoy what we have now in 2010, which is fricking great gnr r&R show. But stop hating on the great old just to get in favor with a natural fuck-up like Del James. The guy still tries to get young pussy through his position in the GNR camp, at the age of 46. In any case, to answer that stupid pathetic Bridget Jones lookalike cow's question on the banner: Del James definitely would be the 1st person who still needs Slash, or GNR in that respect. Cause if it wasn't for Slash, Del James would need legalized prostitution in the USA.

Well to be fair, a few months ago Slash's wife, Perla, said that "atleast it didn't take 15 years to make," when refering to Slash's new album. The 15 years album being ,Chinese Dmeocracy, which she had nothing to do with at all.

So what if Del posted it on his page, its a funny sing and a play on "Better."

  12. Wow..Thats sad to look at.

    What happened to Slash?

    It's kind of upsetting!

Does he really like doing stuff like this? That would be even more upsetting.

I really loved Slash, but now I am getting kind of confused.....

You can say a lot about Axl, but I can't see him shaking his butt with Shakira (although it would be funny to watch :D, you know both doing their crazy dance )

Sorry Mate, She is not even Shakira......she is a poor mexican singer..........and belive me, if I were a musician, real musician, I would never play with her..........Slash was a GNR member and was famous for that, and only that. today he is a poor musiscian trying to find another Axl Rose................

c'mon guy you know that Paulina Rubio isn't a poor girl!!

    I agree.

  13. Slash doesnt sound like slash anymore (and hasnt for 20 years)

thats what the sign should of said

yes .. yes .. you are right, the sign represents Axl`s good choice ... instead of this

    Wow..Thats sad to look at.

    What happened to Slash?

  15. I think there was a vdeo of Axl backstage from a "sort of" documentary on Youtube somewhere. I remeber watching it, he was arriving in the arena and during Chinese Demcoracy he went backstage and than went back out.

Does anybody now where it is?

As far as backstage video's, I don't know. There was one from '10 posted on here a few months ago, but I'm not sure about '06.
