Can you imagine the backlash if Axl had used overdubs? Are we all pretending it would of been a good thing?

Well, in my humble opinion, it would be a good thing for the simple fact I hate his clean Mickey voice. Question is, which backlash would be bigger? Axl doing some trickery on studio or Axl sounding so bad like he does in the released product?

The reception seems mostly positive on this forum. It's only little forum nerds who shout "Oh, there's no rasp!"

If by "little forum nerds" you mean tons of people on FB and YT, then you're right. It's not only the rasp though. Axl looks out of shape, and for many, this is nothing more than a cover band, which I do agree. People prefer the old band and the old Axl.

I didn't take their tweet that way. They seemed to be positive about it and want others to enjoy it but just don't want to watch themselves on film. Not uncommon.

Great game for Soccer all around. This World Cup has done wonders for the sport within the U.S. It's already beaten out Baseball, Basketball and Hockey in the television ratings. Phenomenal.... I wouldn't be surprised if soccer finally becomes a MAJOR sport in the U.S. ...within a decade.

Lyrics and chorus are dreadful, the music itself is good but needs a better voice/lyric to match it. Ultimately, I found myself waiting for the solo which usually means it's a bad Slash song. You're a lie was at least catchy and simple to get.

Honesty I hope we destroy em'. We need something to cheer about. I love watching the world cup, get frustrated when I miss games
