I guess another thing I think that makes it sound better is especially in those last hooks you can really hear the "hunger" in his voice, it's intense, you dont hear it much these days, like he had something to prove

But from 3:50 on through the rest of this Jungle is definitely the best he's sounded in quite a while, the scream at 4:11 into the hook is ruthless

The reason I made a seperate thread for this in particular though, is the question begs to be asked? Why isn't Axl CONSISTENT with this voice? It's definitely there..I feel like vocal strengthening and training could do wonders.

There was a sign from the 11/25 Worcester, MA show in 2011, a forum user Stryker made it, it was the whole band drawn in a Thanksgiving manner, with Axl wearing his normal hat, but a pilgrim top, pretty funny stuff the whole band including Axl got huge kick out of the sign, the kid was right next to me on the rail and in line.

I saw a tweet at work from GnR that I real quick read that I thought said Bumblefoot was in LA for Kimmel, and it was worded like it was in lieu of Axl, is that not the case?

Not gonna lie, pretty underwhelmed.

It was cool as shit...but I feel like there's definitely a reasonable number of fans that could have done something much better if say, they had access to the same type of exclusive, high quality footage, ya know?

I feel like Axl puts no effort into singing Chinese Democracy. Sometimes I only think it's the opener because it's so easy to sing.

HOB's is awful for smoking, when I saw VR there in 07 when it was the Avalon the place was hotboxed. But at HOB's if you're in the middle of the floor, just blow down, keep it down and you'll be fine. We roasted 2 or 3 at Slash.

It was a top notch show. Great fucking time. I was on the floor about 6 people deep on Slash's side, and once that fight broke out during Nightrain we slinked up to the 2nd row dead center for the rest of the night

Some old bald guy let me rip his J for a while, Slash killed it, and Todd Kerns on vox for You're Crazy was sick, what a set of pipes on that guy.
