i remember an interview a few years ago with plant, it said in the 60s before zeplin he played at a working mens club in a small town (where i live) and he was shiteing himself as the locals wanted to kick the shite out of him, guess they were no keen on him back then either lol

i thought kobibas tone was horrible, he has a wah pedal clicked on to give a treble boost, sound ok when playing the intro to sweet child but on chords its awful.

he is good on the guitar though

how can anyone say axl being late is what hes known for and it doesnt bother them? the fans pay to watch a show not stand and sweat for hours in a warm hall waiting on axl turning up, i was there in 92, 93 and 2006, glasgow 2006 was a fucking nightmare waiting on the cunt, granted he was good but halfway through the show i was getting bored with all the solos, dehidrated and almost ready to go home, id imagine if he was on time and people didnt need to hang around aslong the show would have been more enjoyable.

i also wanted to see the other bands so turning up late wasnt an option, im also pretty sure he told people to fuck off and catch their bus as they were leaving half way through the show, cant remember exactly what he said though

I don't think she's necessarily wrong. Not because Vicky has some secret magic powers or anything, but if Axl and Slash got in a room together with anyone they both trusted to moderate, nothing but good things would come. Of course getting them there is the trick while Axl is all "Mommy, he was mean to me!" and Slash is all "Fuck that ginger".

yes thats the same as the 2nd night, i got tickets and got into the field just as gnr were coming on the first night so was lucky enough to see them both nights.

was a long weekend, left scotland at 10am saturday and got to m/k around 7pm, no sleep till the train home on monday lol

I never understood what people liked about kiss? In MY opinion their songs are shite and they dress up and look rediculous, iv tried to listen to their albums to see what the fuss was but nope, they are terrible.

Axl is by far the weak link in the band these days, if he is not on his game then yes it would be hard to live up to the hype

I buy gnr albums to hear axl sing not other band members, thats the one thing i hated on th uyi albums, if the others want to sing then put out a solo album and leave the gnr songs to axl

how many people are going to start a thread about why cd didnt sell that well? theres only 2 reason why the album didnt sell aswell as some thought it would, the biggest reason is no one outside the hardcore fans gives a fuck about gnr and their music these days, and no.2 is that some might think the album was shite so didnt buy it, either way who gives a fuck? aslong as you enjoy the album then that should be enough, fucking hate when people try and talk others into likeing something or give their opinion on why something didnt sell when its means nothing,

on the upside this is still a great post compaired to some of the shite thats in this forum

its about time posts were checked by mods before being put up on this board, iv seen more shite in this forum than i have on the rest on the internet put together
