I don't think we'll ever see all of it. Some of it might feel too "personal" to him, I would think.
i dont think its a matter of it being too personal at all... he just doesnt wanna get slapped with a lawsuit... which will happen if he makes any profit off the bands works without their consent

In a live setting it's badass. To buy the albums though? No thanks.
I own Apocolyptic Love and it barely gets played.
idk man i saw them live and myles just bored me to death. i kept thinking that he should be singing at the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints

who gives a shit niven is probably right considering his credibility is in tact with being involved from their initiation to triumph and only that - axl derailed it to one man it
theres no other fucking explanation why someone would storm off
how old is niven now? is it possible hes just a senile old fuck? plus he was fired by axl so i consider his take on things to be just a tad biased... so i personally question his credibility a little bit

nah they dont rehearse then sign contracts after. if izzy did in fact walk away after soundcheck it was slash and duff doing souncheck... maybe frank and or steven... axl doesnt do souncheck and i doubt izzy did either

Idk if anyone has mentioned this yet or not.
But isn't it likely that Izzy had something worked out with his monetary value before going to a rehearsal?
Sorry if it's been brought up before.
yeah i think the story is bs and we'll probably never get the real story but i think maybe he turned down the shit offer after the first soundcheck which he wasnt involved in... if anything whatever he was offered was probably something like what steven was offered where he only got to play a few songs, which i woulda turned down too if i wrote half the shit i wasnt able to play... either that or maybe they reached out to izzy with a shit offer after steve hurt his back cuz they didnt just want it to be the three of them

if you were standing there taking pics with strippers in front of your mom while youre late for your bus, train, plane... with your mom standing next to you, i doubt shed be very happy either... and you probably wouldnt be that ecstatic (depending how fucked up your family is)
i highly doubt hes fuckin beta or ever has... hes reffered to her as a mother figure over and over... and yeah, axl might be fucked up, but not fucked up enough to fuck his "mom"

as much as i love slash and his killer riffs i cant sit through another mk chorus just to hear a solo from my favorite guitarist and thats sayin a lot. im hoping that if there is a new smkc album that someone will be kind enough to upload youtube videos with all the solos, just the solos, cuz im not listening to that dude sing one more song. not in this lifetime

I would actually make a complaint if someone made a sign and block my view. There's no need for it when you spend money on the concert and can't see as a result of someone else's selfishness. It's bad enough when someone is taller than you and is blocking your view.
this. thats why signs get taken away. and axl just threw people out to be an asshole. hes good at that and i like that about him lol

this stuffs fuckin awesome. mucho gracias to the OP. wish i was able to see them in a club before they got big. whatever little footage there is, is amazing. id love high quality demos like this of easy, brownstown, rocket queen, nightrain and one in a million

appreciate all the hard work. you make this forum a better place. now please for the love of god, try to get one of the big 3 on there and hit em with a question about new music. im sure youve tried already, along with many others but THAT is what 99.9% of us wanna know
im sure even if you did get the chance to ask they wouldnt give you a straight answer but i wanna hear someone other than fortus say the same old shit we've been hearing for years. and i guess fuckin kudos to dizzy for giving us what was pretty much a flat out "no" but im dying to hear it from someone that has some pull

On top of that, he just seems obnoxious and can't keep his mouth shut.
wasnt that and going off on benders what GNR was built on tho? lol

There's a rumor that it may have been a Team Brazil decision. Not the first time they have made decisions on behalf of Axl Rose.
"Chip Z'Nuff talks about GNR and Steven Adler in the latest issue of a Spanish magazine called Popular 1. He says Steven was preparing to play the whole tour but was kicked out by management and lawyers after he hurt his back at rehearsals."
yup. i think thats more likely than just saying cuz hes a alcoholic drug addict like everyone else is implying. i think theres a bit more to it than just that. also maybe a bit to do with if he falls off the wagon duff and slash could too, and they wouldnt have sold that many more tickets with steven around. we can speculate all we want but id love to hear the actual story from all parties involved. and none of this vague bullshit like with what we got about izzy
-
ultimately i dont think anyone can disagree that not having izzy around to write tracks was what made the album mediocre at best

He was trying to push the band's sound forward and didn't want to do the same thing over and over, just as UYI was a progression from AFD, fair play to him for trying.
Shackler's Revenge, the worst track on CD by a country mile, Riad to a lesser extent. I agree there isn't much industrial there on the final release. There probably is on some of the tracks in the vault, Silkworms for instance had an industrial vibe, again, a poor track imo.
exactly my point. and yeah props to axl for trying to evolve but he went the wrong route imo. and yeah two songs simular to NIN on the final release but how much of the unreleased stuff sounded like shacklers or riad? probably a lot of the stuff that made slash say fuck it was simular to that stuff but thats just me speculating... if im gonna go based on facts then just having finck up there with that reverse mullet or wtv the fuck it was, was a huge turnoff... and beleive me when i say i tried to like it
-
not a fan of nine inch nails and whatever possesed axl to go that route is beyond me. he shoulda let slash have his gritty rock tracks and kept writting lavish ballads and wed probably have a few more good records. imo that whole NIN vibe is what ran nugnr into the ground
-
why so much negativity here? we all want izzy back but truth is if richard walked away, hed probably have to come back when izzy leaves again. history repeats itself. all i see here is a decent band playing an amazing song by my favorite band and it just so happens that the guitarists replacements replacement happened to be there for the gig... the crowd which probably didnt pay very much to be there got a real treat
-
anything pre-illusions is just magic. seeing those 5 guys up there hustling to be #1 is just so much more enjoyable than anything after they got there
-
probably the real reason why steve isnt part of NITL, cuz he cant shut his mouth... also one the reasons i wish he was... would it fuckin kill axl duff or slash to go on the air and give fans what they want once in awhile?

to anyone saying they should put old songs/videos on their website... we all know that like 4 people would actually pay for them then everyone else would just rip it off youtube

i wonder if we'll ever find out the exact details why hes not part of NITL. It hurts to see frank play his parts while hes sitting at home
