What sucks is I am afraid we may not have access to setlist till after the show. There is like ZERO signals there everyone is complainin lol. I have previous commitments tomorrow so I cannot do update thread.
Chinese Democracy, Welcome to the Jungle, It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone ...
-
Cool future review.

Sturgis Rumor
Apparently, GNR is going to play a version of the song "Tequila" while Pee Wee Herman dances on stage. I kid you not.
-
Robin does a really great Stevie Ray Vaughan-type solo on one track."
either he don't know what SRV sounds like, or he don't know what Robin sounds like...
Robin sounds pretty ace in the studio

Subconsciously jealous @ 0:04

When is that show??
Is there going to be a live stream?
No. I'm pretty sure they backpedaled on that too.
-
Saying things like cd was horrible, slash was gnr, axl had a terrible voice, axl was just a little girl throwing fits, and lastly the gay guy with the mutton chops said he doughts axls been with more than 5 girls.
those guys are wrong.
cd was good but it's not gnr, slash was one fifth of gnr, axl's voice is very polarizing, axl is a grown man throwing fits, axl was a virgin in high school but im sure he slept with more than 5 girls.

mygnr: New Guns is the greatest rock band ever!!!!!
the rest of the world: reunion plz!

I'd like to see Axl appear on 19 Kids & Counting
-
If Axl's gonna serve Chinese leftovers - he should keep the fried chicken and toss out that stuff from 2006-7.
-
This is a weird thread.
Anyone who would prefer more mash-ups over more new material has something wrong with 'em.
There's new material?
-
What do you think could be in store?
For New Guns? More of the same.
"Secret" tours, no radio airplay, no TV appearances, no magazine interviews or cover stories, and another interminable wait for new music.
-
Are these the mashups that M&S made?
She does an awesome job. I love her work.
-
I don't think Axl will be touring with a reunited Van Halen - it might raise too many expectations/questions ...
-
Surprise gig in New York this week.
Vegas for New Years Eve.

I think Chinese Democracy could have been titled -
Chinese Democracy: The Making of Chinese Democracy
Billboard Magazine: Observers are interpreting some of the songs on "Chinese Democracy" as being about the process of making the album. Is this valid?Axl Rose: I'd say there's a lot in the lyrics regarding the journey to make the album, even if not in so many words.

how come so much of you overlook that Chinese Democracy is a full message to fans in general. take first song's "Chinese Democracy" verse - "it don't really matter, gonna find out for yourself", then take "Shackler's Revenge" verse - "don't ever try to tell me how much you care for me", and from "Better" - "I never would or thought I could, no matter what you'd pay me, replay the part.." or " so bittersweet this tragedy, won't ask for absolution" and finally " I never wanted you to be so full of anger, I never wanted you to be somebody else, I never wanted you to be someone afraid to know themselves, I only wanted you to see things for yourself" and then "If I were you, I manage to, avoid the invitation, Of promised love that can't keep up with your adoration, just use your head and in the end your find your inspiration to choose your steps and won't regret this kind of aggravation", and from "If the World" - " if the world would end today, and all our dreams we had would all just drift away", from "There Was a Time" - "it was a long time for you(it was a long time), it was a long time for me(it was a long time), it'd be along time for anyone but(it was a long time) looks like it's meant to be", from "Scraped" - "some may convince you, no one can break through, I'm here to tell you, you're worth more than they tell you", and " you know you're stronger than the lies that they tell you" "believe in yourself", and "Sorry" - "you like to have me jump and be good, but I don't want to do it, you don't know way I won't act the way you think I should", " you know that I got under your skin, you sold your soul, but I won't let you win" , " you don't know who in the hell or not to believe", " nobody owes you, not one goddamn thing, you know were to put your, just shut up and sing", and "Prostitute" the whole song. I know that some of the verses I've quoted could go also for "the suits" or for former band mates or lovers or critiques, but never the less they go well to fans also!
so all the lyrics is this album Chinese Democracy is a statement and answer to all problems or questions that the rest of the world could have for Axl.
Great stuff I totally agree

It is his account. I think he is being a douche
He is remarkably accomplished at being just that, along with other things which I won't mention :disgust:
Getting Chinese Democracy released?

If we are talking 2010:
1. Bono
2. Anthony Kiedis
3. Jack White
4. Trent Reznor
5. Bruce Springsteen
6. Mick Jagger
7. Axl Rose
8. Eddie Vedder
9. Perry Farrel
10. Thom Yorke
11. Steven Tyler
Bono hasn't gotten fat and his voice is more consistent. He's my number 1 in terms of the whole package: voice, charisma, stage presence, energy.

Kid A + Amnesiac is another good example of what Stipemanblue is talking about.

Like I said - the show won't be sold out. Show up the day-of and buy a ticket in the lot for $10
