  1. there's some shit about MLB running the site or whatever and not GN'R themselves, so it's kinda ditched but as said, their facebook is frequently updated

Isn't Axl a millionaire? Can't he just buy MLB out?

If I were one of the former members I'd be pretty pissed-off regarding Axl's mis-management of the brand name.

  3. your points are all valid , yet it doesnt change the fact doing a soundcheck would help greatly , not just anyone but the actual vocalist ... mic technique projection etc ..... and all good soundmen/woman understand the sound is going to change once the house is full and respond accordingly

Agreed. Obviously it would be a good idea for the vocalist to be present at soundcheck.

  4. CD2 is done kids, we just have to wait a few more months.

for "CD II", theyre going to stop touring and head into the studio.

there is not an albums worth of finished material left over from CD.

Either one or both of you is full of shit.

  5. it's going to follow the same kind of life of the Kid Rock record, where songs keep coming - then we'll have really good numbers by summer." Radio's resistance to the title cut is "disappointing," says Chiappardi, but he believes that several of the album's ballads "are going to come through. Maybe not on a November Rain basis, but there's some tracks there." Above all, Chiappardi claims that Chinese Democracy needs time and nurturing. "The record is like a unicorn - there's a legend around it," he says. "It's hard to explain. I think once the smoke clears, it'll rise to the top."
  6. Seeing as they're on tour they could always release a 'Tour Edition' of Chinese Democracy like Deep Purple did with Rapture Of The Deep. Purple's had an extra CD with recent live tracks, alternate versions of songs and a new track. It would be cool if Guns did something similar, some alternate versions would be cool Catcher with Brian May's solo etc.

Didn't Brain say he was working on club mixes of a few tracks?

  7. To our ears, they prob. sound like they're completed. To Axl's, they're high quality demos and need some fixin'.

No one's said how many songs are releasable.

    I don't disagree with you.

The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed. Drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal integrated themselves into the recordings seamlessly and will have their presence felt.

  8. Did he ever say there were completed songs he left off of "Chinese Democracy", or were songs like "The General" still works in progress for a later date? Usually there's one or two songs left off on an album because they either didn't fit in with the other music, or not enough room. I think it was hard enough to finish the songs that were on there.

GnREvolution: Did you work on any of these tracks which Axl confirmed as working titles of future GnR Material or was your involvement in the recording process strictly limited to the songs which appear on Chinese Democracy? (Ides Of March, Berlin (Oklahoma), Atlas Shrugged, Oh My God, Silkworms, Down By The Ocean, Soul Monster (Leave Me Alone), Seven, The General, Thyme, Quick Song, Zodiac).

Bumblefoot: I played on a good handful of songs that weren't on Chi Dem. Can't predict what the fate of any of those songs will be.
