I think they care a lot but like you say this helps them save cash.Maybe just maybe they caved in on certain issues new management raised on condition it was released in 08

The process seems to be moving along without any participation of the band members. Perhaps these recent releases don't have Axl's blessing and so he won't be involved in promotional efforts.

i don't even wanna consider that!!! in my happy world, all is now finally great between the band and the record company and the album is gonna be exploding out in november.

obviously there was a negotiation between the band and best buy before the deal was done.

it's not like they do the deal and then axl has to decide when they release it. if the deal is done then the release date is agreed and both axl and best buy are happy.

guns n' roses appear to be extremely uncool amongst "music fans". casual music fans like them but those who think they are 'in the know' about music, usually hate them, mainly cos of axl. then there are the die hard fans, i don't know too many in real life

Critics loved the first record because it was poppy and commercial. The second one was better musically, better lyrically, and just overall better - however, it isn't commercial, so critics hate it. Runaway Brides runs rings around the first record.

i totally agree, never say never and porcelain queen being my two favourite 'brides' songs.

Reviews I was just reading 30 seconds ago say it's pretty shit though...maybe I might stick with their debut and not tarnish my image of them...

I actually think the second one is better! more depth and better song writing in my opinion anyway.
