I wouldn't mind all the members, past and present going on stage and doing some type of epic jam. But for one song, I'd like to see just the 5 appetite guys go at it. I could live with that. Slash and Axl playing on each other records and joining each other on stage every now and then would be enough for me. A full blown reunion would be ideal of course. But neither seems to want that. Would be awesome to have Axl on a Slash record though

I'm sorry, but if you haven't been a part of the band for twenty plus years you don't deserve shit. Slash shouldn't be rewarded for being a little cuntrag and walking out on GNR.

When the GNR reunion happens, CD will need to be stricken from the record and never spoken of again. What an embarrassment to the name. A big LOL to anyone who thinks this charade AKA nuguns deserves even a mention at the HOF...not gonna happen..the REAL gunners created Guns N' Roses and all the timeless classics. Sweet Child O' Mine is their signature song, the only one to make it to the top of Billboard. If there is a performance, it has to be included.

I still think Jungle is more of the epitome of Guns than SCOM, and Patience is just so beautiful and intimate and I think all the members have strong feelings about it.

SCOM, WTTJ, and Paradise City must be played.

This is a moment to pull all differences aside for us fans and the band members, they all worked their asses off and went through hell and back to be where they are today. They earned this moment, congrats GUNS N ROSES!

Both bands suck nowadays, but old metallica is FAR superior in every way to this "new guns". They were pioneers of metal and had PLENTY of emotion in their songs. Where is emotion lacking in these songs??

Eh, I've never really liked Metallica. I've heard their entire discography, and I have yet to like a single song. All I hear is mindless loudness. I don't feel the emotion. I certainly feel the emotion in Chinese Democracy on the other hand.

To each their own I suppose, im the very opposite. CD did nothing for me. Guess music just strikes us all a bit different. 5:36 onward on Orion always gives me goosebumps leading up to the 2nd solo. I should also say, I use to hate all forms of metal until about a year ago. Now I have gotten into all kinds of old school metal and have learned to love Metallica as much as I do GNR. Cant stand Megadeth, however. UGH!

Well, I hold them almost equal, putting gnr slightly ahead in the old days. What's ridiculous is trying to write off Metallica as some second rate nobodies with no decent music. Sure, they havent written a decent album in 20 years, but for most GNR fans, we'd say the same about GNR. At least Metallica kept touring and entertaining its fans while Axl sat holed up in his house. Metallica has written songs that rivals anything GNR has to offer, thats coming from the most die hard (old)GNR on this site. Fade to Black, One, Sanitarium, Puppets, Nothing Else Matters, Orion, etc all on par with songs like estranged, nr, scom, pc and so on.

I think Oppo is the best value for a standalone player. Of course, a PS3 will do things a standalone player can't.

That's tough to say, the combinations are nearly limitless. What do you want to spend? On the low end you have home theater in a box solutions, if you spend a bit more you buy the pieces separately but can get much better quality.

Tough in an apartment to prevent sound from carrying to the neighbors though. Some people may insist you need a subwoofer, I actually tend to disagree. A bookshelf speaker with a 6.5" driver can put out a surprising amount of good quality bass in a smallish sized room. You can always buy a sub later, in any case.

Im looking to spend about $1,000. Not sure if thats a good amount or not. But I really like the look of the floor standing speakers but alot of them I see are ungodly expensive. wireless is a must, i freakin hate wires.
