You haven't been to a show in 2018. I went nottingham '12 and it wasn't any better than Bordeaux '18. It was better than Donington, which again, was at the start of a leg.

For the '18 run I avoided the forums before Download (3rd show) as I could guess what was in store. At the show, I could tell Axl was rusty but I think coming here would have made it worse for me going in, If I thinking about Berlin/Odense. He will pick up but to he honest its more like 5/6 shows to get to full voice. You will enjoy the show anyway. but it may fall slightly lower than the others if they were further into a leg!

I don't think they have to be working on new music, and I dont think people think it must be happening. Saying that, This tour has run its course, the performances are always a bit weaker each leg, more autopilot. For me its either go away and come back with new music and a big tour, or go away for a while (probs release smth along the lines of a UYI boxset in '21) and come back with a heavily re worked setlist to fit the band better. 

I've seen this band 5 times in Europe, all great gigs, and the only one that was noticeably worse was DL '18 (start of a run). Saying that, we havent been at '16 levels since that year and Axl clearly needs something different to raise his game because breaks of nothing obviously dont inspire him.

Vocal coach, and he had to learn the songs not just practice them with the wrong technique like with a fair few guns songs these days.

Can't be that important to him. He must be okay with calling the first 2/3 shows his "rehearsal", sucks for the fans paying for those shows.

I would say leave it for the sake of hitting an arbitrary number. It's a massive achievement to be where they are in that list and as you said once '18 data is added they'll be even further up. The market isn't properly ready for more legs in the markets they've hit I don't think. They massively down scaled the 2nd US run, and Europe '18 was great for me as I loved the opportunity to go for two summers, but some of the shows on that run had a lot of unsold tickets, especially in countries they'd hit in 2017. I think this leg is a nice "lets wrap this up and hit the far reaching destinations to say we've been pretty much everywhere on the map" kinda thing.

I would typically pick up one shirt per tour/run but the show specific stuff on NITL got me in. As long as the design isn't horrible (download 18...) I usually get a shirt and litho.
