  1. I've been reading from fans on here that Slash(recently)comes out and signs autographs after shows but will not take pics. That's strange because alot of these "fans" are ebayers and will sell his autograph but it's not like you could sell a picture of yourself with Slash. Maybe he's so rich that he doesn't care what someone does with his autograph after he signs it? Either way I'd rather have a picture with him than an autograph from him.

I think it's to let him meet as many fans as possible. I feel the same way about pics in general, but can you imagine if all those people waiting after a show wanted pics? I'm sure many would be fumbling with their cameras, too. He doesn't have all the time in the world after a show. They need to get going to the next location.

To the point about the ebayers, at the Hampton Beach show last month, he stopped signing early because people were jumping back into line to get another autograph.

  2. In my experience of 4 of Slash's last 5 headline shows (NYC, NH, NJ and Baltimore), getting there after Noon will not get you the first spot in line. If you only care about being on the rail and not being on the rail somewhere specific, you could possibly get there as late as like 2ish and maybe get on the rail down by Frankie. Much later than that and no rail for you. If you just want to be close (2-4 rows) you can get there a bit later, but you're not getting in the first 5 rows getting in line at 5.

There's a definite increase in people getting there early. My friends and I could get to a show 1-2pm and be one of the first 5-10 people in line. This time around the only show we got on the rail for (between Myles and Todd) was NJ. The other. 3 we were mostly second or third row (for NYC 2 out of 4 of us got the rail with the others 2nd row and for Baltimore 1 was on the rail and 2 in the 2nd row. NH all 4 of us were either 2nd or 3rd row).

  3. NYC, tomorrow night!!! My group will be getting on line early, ~5PM or so. :headbang:

Any ideas what time they've been coming on stage? I'll just be leaving work around 5pm and have to get a full pre-game in before the show.
    We're on line, I'd guess 9:15?
I'd say 9. I heard that in PA, the openers, Like a Storm, went on at 8 and got 30 minutes. Then Slash and co at 9. I'm in line, too! Can't wait!!
I'm wearing a gray shirt with two guys wearing blue and green, near the bathrooms on lower floor. Send a wave if ya see.
I'm in an Alter Bridge fortress tshirt near the bottom of the stairs by the front of the line.
Ah didn't see this went to the second page, we're in the venue but you're probably way in front of us. We're about center stage but 10 rows back or so.

Yeah. I'm second row over around Todd's area. There's a guy just behind me wearing a Slash hat.

  6. My show is two weeks away and its official: I've finally let myself start getting excited for it! I just love seeing this band so much. This show'll be more than 10 times I believe and I think this has been the longest draught. Last saw them the summer before last in PA at the very end of the AL tour. For my money they are still the best live band around these days and my friends and I say everytime we go to a concert "hey, wouldn't it be great if Slash and Myles just go on instead". Finally sinking in that soon enough I'll actually be seeing that again.

Its also sinking in that now that I'm getting excited and the NJ show near me is sold out that I'm getting to the point of "fuck, I'm gonna have to buy scalper tickets, cause I just have to see the NY and NJ show." I really said I wouldn't resort to paying over face, but I'm afraid its gonna come to that after the NY show.

I hear you. I'm going to the NYC show and was also at the PA show you mentioned. Though I got to see them at Santos Party House in September before World on Fire dropped

I'll be at NYC too. Was Santo's the Howard/Sirius thing?

    Anyone else going to NYC?

Santos was yes, Sirius, but not Howard. It was an Octane thing.

Still annoyed I didn't get an email for that one... They had just sent me an email a few days earlier for some other band that I don't remember who it was and don't care about. Would've loved to have seen them in such an intimate venue and had it set up with work so I could go (I still tried to send an email as they said you could try to do). Oh well.

I'll be at NYC, NH, NJ and Baltimore.

Baltimore sold out before I got tickets..... still looking, as that show is much closer to me than NYC. Would love to do both.

NYC is actually much closer for me, but my friends and I love the venue, so we don't mind taking the ride down there.

  8. Wasting no time. Then more touring. It's all good.

well, Myles will be doing another Alter Bridge album cycle before the next SMK&C album. so definitely no wasted time for Myles. I'm sure Slash and the Conspirators will keep busy with other aspects of the album while Myles works with AB, though.

  9. Just found out Slash is playing about half an hour from me on May 5th at one of my favorite venues and I just can't pass that up. And that'll make three of the original Gunners that I've seen! (Axl in 06, Duff in 2013, now Slash)

I highly recommend getting there in time to see the openers, Like a Storm. 3 brothers from New Zealand (plus a drummer, Zach Wood, who's been touring with them for the better part of a year, but isn't part of the creative process) who incorporate didgeridoo in their music. They have a song called Wish You Hell in the top 20 on the rock chart right now. Good music and great guys.
  10. well tbh honest, This particular show is already online on youtube and that's definitely not their best performance.

To me, it's like the gig they played in NYC in 2012 for the Apocalyptic Love release. They play the new songs way better now !

Hey! I was at that show (NYC), fuck you that was a great show.

    :P

yeah, right. so was I and the show was much better than the DVD. Can't wait for May 7th. been on Matt and Glenn's facebook page's when their pushing their KoC CT show to crash slash and Myles May 7th gig. Matt acknowledged it on fb and said we'll see.
That would be amazing!! Especially if Glenn were to make. An appearance! Although KOC are in FL right before the CT show and there's almost a week between SMK&C in NYC and KOC in CT.
  11. First single from the next album, Cauterize, is available today! "Another Heart," is the first single. They have the lyric vid on YouTube, but I'm on my phone and it's a pita to post it. If no one has posted it by the time I get home later I will.

edit: adding Another Heart lyric video

  12. Well, this is interesting, to me anyway. Semi-retired WWE wrestler Chris Jericho's band, Fozzy, will be opening for them in their Chicago show.

and Like a Storm is opening for them in NOLA, Mobile and PA shows! kinda wishing I was going to the PA show now..... LOVE me some LAS!

Fozzy opening is interesting, too. I wouldn't mind them for the northeastern shows, too.

  13. Fuckin' awesome :headbang:

If the ideas keep sprouting up, why wait?
Exactly! He doesn't say they're running into the studio. They're just working out ideas. Perfect time to do so when they're together and have soundcheck to jam. Chances are this isn't coming out for another couple of years anyway. Myles is scheduled to do another alter bridge album next year.
  14. this one is actually the most white it's looked on any screen I've seen it on so far. on my work monitor it looked white and gold with the white balance off (which would explain the white part looking blue) and every version I've seen on my phone and personal computer it's looked very blue and black (except for this one which I'm looking at on my personal computer).

  15. Was it Myles' voice that killed the momentum in his try out with the Led Zeppelin guys?

Lol. No. The project just fell apart. What I heard was that Page just wasn't ready to be working with singers for that project. I also saw an interview ith JPJ where he said liked Myles. (Referred to here in this Blabbermouth.com article http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/jimmy-page-and-john-paul-jones-couldn-t-agree-on-new-band-s-lead-singer/ ) Jason Bonham had heard Myles sing before on the set of a Rock Star, so he knew what he was doing when he asked Myles to jam with them.

  16. Slash2baz, anymore European dates (July 1st is the latest, so far) possible ?

Definitely MORE european dates to come. They haven't even written on the website the Musilac Festival date in France July 10th ! ;)

Expect MORE tour dates to be announced next week :headbang:

Any word on that potential Israel show? A friend of mine there is hoping that show happens.

June 25th or 26th is that right ? fuck, i don't remember exactly but i've heard only rumors, nothing's confirmed by Slash's camp ;)

I don't remember if a date was mentioned , but I remember seeing something about the possibility.
