I'd have no problem with Robin making more frequent appearances like Duff and Izzy. But I've said this before - why bother having him back when all they're going to do is continue the greatest hits tour? If Axl really committed to moving the band forward then yeah, bring him back. But right now he's with a band that is actually relevant and doing great stuff. And when he's not working with NIN he should be putting work into his solo record. He made the right choice bailing on this band.

Even though I don't really like NIN's music, I always think I'd love to see them whenever you post pics. Seems like they put on a phenomenal stage show.

I don't think Axl has ever stopped trying, anyone who has seen him live can attest to his love of being out there over the past 8 years. What seems to be the case is that his enthusiasm is occasionally dashed by his current physical and vocal ability to perform. He seems to have become more physically restricted as the years have done on. When I saw him in 2010 he ran and jumped around the stage like someone half his age, this year he looks way more cautious about what he does.

I don't believe in the necessity of neckties or suits in general. A very outdated principle in my opinion.

I always liked Robin, he was a cool guy and he had a great onstage relationship with Richard. The rest I have never really cared about, though I have never liked Buckethead. I understand that he is a good guitar player, but I have never really been into the whole virtuoso guitarist thing, I don't like Vai or Satriani or Malmsteen, and to make it worse he wore a Bucket on his head, I could never really decide whether he was just one big joke or not.

I think Duff still cares deeply for GNR and for Axl. If Tommy walked away tomorrow, I think Duff would seriously consider rejoining as long as he was aloud to keep doing his Walking Papers and Loaded stuff... just like DJ does Sixx:Am, Ron does his solo stuff and Richard now has Dead Daisies.

hardcore GNR fans love Bucket, but if he ever came back, say goodbye to whatever remains of GNR's public credibility.

if anyone goes to these shows and stands front row, be advised that Duff spits A LOT when he sings... I went to a Loaded gig and basically got a Duff shower

From experience I can say that he definitely looks like he has a bad back, the way he lifts his legs and holds his arms steady while moving. Tell tale signs.

I'd say thank you, talk about Queen, Thin Lizzy etc, ask about some song meanings, share with him some of the GNR moments and songs that have meant the most to me and why. Overall I would just be friendly and polite and encouraging .

I will say, that VIP split looks fucking stupid. Hope they don't ever do that in the US.

They have a split floor for most GA gigs outside North America. Almost every Maiden gig I've been to in Europe has been like that.

I believe in a lot of venues it is a safety issue and thats why they do it.
