When you try to put out double album,it's sure the second cd always is weaker and lack of first one,now the more i listen the album more i like it,production is perfect,james vocals are improved and have a 90's era vibe,no of course is not a thrash album,i already prefer it more than DM.

Revenge,Now That We're Dead,Moth,Dream No More,Halo On Fire,Spit Out The Bone are top for me,the rest from just good to mediocre till uninspired.

It worth the 8 years of waiting?,if they haven't done this crap with the movie may we had this 2 years earlier.

It leaked and i heard it many times,i was expected more but Forward Momentum,Our Proof Of Life,Atoma liked most.

Good album,killer soloing,dynamic drums,little better than Hail the king,if you think is shit,go listen linkin park stuff.

Definitely it's Axl's year,as performance,as comeback with reunion and when the recognition comes from guys like Vinnie Paul it's more important,Axl has nothing to prove now to nobody.

It's not same level with Fortess but still a good album and tremonti is killer guitarist.

Slayer deserve their own thread,there is no point analyze and mention who Slayer are.The whole case is what is the future and what we can expect after,1) death of Jeff who was basic founder and composer,2) Lombardo got fired ,3) After tom araya neck surgery,4) Last mediocre album.Tom sounds tired,kerry king lives in his own planet thinking only making more money and the band as a business.

I have much respect to Gary Holt and Paul Bostaph,they are doing what they can.The problem is who controling the band now,who taking decisions about the music direction,the lyrics,the stuff for new material,the situation seems weird,KERRY KING Says TOM ARAYA's Future SLAYER Plans "Very Unclear".

At least the question is,after all these things happened to the band,is still this Slayer,original Slayer,is retirement coming soon?

Izzy left the band first,izzy wanted to show with nu gnr,izzy wanted more money to be into reunion,it's all izzy decision,no matter what Axl say,izzy is the one member that Axl can't tell him what to do,slash,duff,adler and other members need their paycheck and will play everything Axl say.Izzy won't follow Axl orders.
