Not for me. Perhaps it WAS on the site and is still in your cache or something?

It's on the top row, third column. the column is labeled "w/c Dec 18".

I believe you guys, but that's what I see in the third column:

But it doesn't really matter anyway if this item is deleted or whatever.

That's what I see too. Why are people seeing different things?

  2. why does everyone assume that because Axl went nuts on the Pigeons of Shit Metal that the tour and the band is falling apart?

We only have one side of the story, but if ANY of it is true, ( the Tommy thing, or the yelling in the dressing room ) then it doesn't look too good, wouldn't you agree?

i worry more about the 'axl apologising' part !

    :rofl-lol:

:rofl-lol: That part proves this is a lie!

  3. Yeah society does bend over backwards for the handicapped - too much. This whole society is turning everyone into wimps. There is a new rule or law every time I turn around. Hell, even the game of hockey is turning mellow with the new interference calls. Soon we'll all be living in a bubble - that's what will kill us off. Nobody will know how to take care of theirselves or solve any problems.

    *rant over* :P

  4. I agree with Madison. Other people would have the same problem even if they weren't disabled and took public transportation. I don't see any of them whining about it. She solved the problem and should have had it solved long ago knowing how GNR are with their times. She was looking for attention and using her disability. I have a friend that is disabled and we always had him drive because he got the best parking spot and had close seats that were reserved for the disabled people.

Some people just like to get attention by using a sympathy card whether it be a disability or race or whatever they can think of.

  5. Guns want to give people a real rock n’ roll ’70’s night out.

Since they play mostly AFD, don't they mean the 80's? :drevil:

Guess I'm just spoiled by living in New York. There's always some transportation available 24/7.

Yeah, but 70's were rockin. Early 80's were fine too, but it got progressively whimpier as the years went on.

I'll just have to take your word on that. :P

:P Where's shades when you want him? :xmasssanta:

  7. "Guns have personally suggested she be transported to and from the concert. . . . Guns want to give people a real rock n’ roll ’70’s night out. Back then people never slept. Late nights and a good time were always on the menu. At the same time, though, they are sensitive to people’s requirements."

:rofl-lol::rofl-lol: So true - those were the days!

    :shades:

  8. I am sympathetic with her situation/handicap. But what do you expect? It is not like they have been going on at 9 every other concert and then went on late for hers. Axl gets fucked in more ways! Now the headlines will be Axl screws over the hanicapped or something ridiculous. Common sense for god's sake!!!

Very true - I wouldn't expect GNR to come on much before 11. Not exactly a news flash.

  9. Go to MSG Shades c'mon!!

Cornell? Madison? get yourself to the bar that htgth and members here(I think) are hooking up to.

I went to 3 shows in the summer on my own, you hook up with people - it's all cool!

    B)

Hey Subsy - no can do, man. I have way too much going on in my life to make that 5 hr trip for possibly nothing again. <_< I would never find someone from here to go with me in any case - they would laugh in my face if I even brought it up.

  10. I'm not blaming anyone. I just said that years ago, I used to follow them around and now I won't buy a ticket unless they are in my neighborhood.

    Agreed.

People who incur a bunch of travel costs and rearrange their schedule for this guy are insane.

Dude - she just said he wasn't blaming anyone?

It was more of a general statement.

I had the guy not show up on me 15 minutes from my house. I was pissed, sure. But I got my money back and we move on.

But after having that happen to me, I look at people who make travel reservations, buy plane tickets and such to be completely out of their minds. And frankly, given Axl's track record, I can't pity them.

    You don't pity me? :P

You're right - having a no show that is in my neighborhood, is ok. Not a big deal. In 2002, I had a babysitter for 24 hrs, hotel, gas, time off work...

In any case, no matter what the reason is or where the fault is, the track record for GNR tells me to not chance that again.

  11. Here's a mini review.

Got there about 9:30ish during Bach's set. He was good, but he's from jersey so he was definitely giving it his all. Papa Roach was what you would expect.

Now to the good stuff. At the beginning of GnR's set the bottom was basically full the top was half full. It looks like the didn't sell any seats in the top half of the 200's (upper level). The band came on about 11:40, which wasn't that late considering PR left the stage at 10:45. The show was pretty good. Not the best I've seen by Guns, but a good time. Technical problems plagued the mic again. I wonder why they can't figure this out after this many shows. Axl was in a really good mood. He warned the crowd once about throwing shit, but otherwise he was gratious and happy the whole night. I won't cover the set list because I'm sure it on here already.

Here was the problem last night. The crowd blew. It was a bad idea to play on a Sunday night. Plain and simple. Anyone who can afford a $100 concert ticket has to work in the morning and is probably tired from the weekend already. Compound that with a late start time and there was no energy to be found. A lot of people left early and I don't think it was a reflection on the band, but on the fact that it was fucking late and peoplke had to work in the morning. I tend to think that anyone who says that "Axl was going through the motions" only says that because it's pretty much the same show from hammerstein. Axl had a lot of energy and if it was your first time seeing him, it would have lived up to the hype. I took my brother in law (15) to his first Guns show and he loved it. If this show was on a Saturday night, the crowd would have been much more into it. Bad scheduling, not a bad show.

You're very fortunate. I live in upstate NY and I haven't been to a show on a weekend in ages! Most bands stop here between gigs if at all so it's always a week night.

Besides, they wouldn't get many shows in if they only played on Fri and Sat nights.

  12. Europe (Norway)... Though I believe South AMerica comes close.

In Norway (Oslo) Gn'R did two shows because of the high demand.

Both show's sold out in about 10-15 minutes after the thickets were available!!!

Both shows had around 16,000 people attending.

And hey, Norway population is only about 4-5 million. That's not even half of any of the bigger cities in America. Everyone in Norway loves Gun's N' Roses. at least most of us ;)

here's a link (if you can read norwegian) :P review of the norwegian concert;) pretty good one

    http://www.puls.no/14282.html

They are doing more than 2 shows in the USA.
