Yeah, they sounded really good.  Vince looks terrible though.  Like a fat bum.  And the guitarist looked like a zombie.  Doesn't matter though.  Nikki Sixx looks like he's still in his prime.

Because DLR is full of himself.

I saw VH several times back in the day with DLR and also a few times with Sammy. Sammy can hold his own and it rocked without DLR. I found that awesome given DLR thought the world revolved around him at the time, well, he still does.

I listened to them a lot before AFD came out. I saw them a few times in the 80's and then again in 2003. They still rock!

I've seen them a bunch of times and would love to go again to a reunion tour - they rock!

That's too bad, Mike.    Luckily my husband loves GNR almost as much as I do.  He was really into them when we saw them back in the late 80's and early 90's.  He has just moved on, but will still listen to them whenever I want.
