No, but a burn a few copies for myself to carry around just in case someone tries to steal it! :krider:

I dont even plan on getting to the Arena until around 10.
I know the drill, He'll probably be on around 10:30, 10:45
Yeah, you know the drill. Remember, that doesn't work for everyone - only Axl. You almost blew it with VR.
yea I know...
SOMEONE....... went into the show without me.
Left me on the sidewalk with no ticket....
Now who would do that to another gunner?
I had to use my charm to get into a sold out show.
Thats why it took me so long
You were late and they were starting early and I still had to get my ass all the way up front in a sold out show!
Your charm....nice. It's a wonder you did get in.

Has he ever not shown up on you?
See, because I used to say that same shit. That the riots, tantrums, and no-shows were all part of his charm.
But once it happens to you, you take a different view.
If he came back here to Philly, yes, I would go. Even if he hits South Jersey, yes, I would go. But to go on some big trek and incur all sorts of expense? No way in hell.
That's how I feel too. So far GNR aren't coming within 3 hrs of where I live and after Philly there is no way in hell that I'm even considering going to one. They need to get much closer now. Prior to Philly, I would most likely have tickets for 2 of the shows listed.

Can someone find out if more dates will be added. I'm hoping they come to Albany, if not I'll have to go somewhere else.
I hear ya!
well, thats if your in Albany, NY and not Albany, Ga. I was hoping they would come to SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center)...seeing I live walking distance...which means I can get EXTRA shity. I seen them there in 88 which was nice As it stands now, I wont make any shows seeing I need to drive to any of the shows i can make. The closet one is in Mass, but its on a Tuesday which is a no-go for a dad raising 3 teens by himself -school night. Oh well, life is cool like that
I hoping for SPAC too!!

I wan't gonnA bother going...but, Then hyped myself up and made arrangements to go....
Asked for time off from work, scheduled a baysitter , the whole ten yards!!
I was just going to hit the sack for the night, to get ready for another work week..
.but, was excited and getting prepared , for atleast...
I had the show on Thursday to look forward to.......
AND WHAT DO I SEE!!?//... It's fkn rescheduled tILL FKn JAN!!
Bullshit!! My fkn Mother told me he would do this shit!!
i'M soOOOO done WITH HIS aSS!! bITCH!!
I know how you feel. That's exactly how I felt in Philly in 2002, but one big difference - I DID pay the babysitter, I did take the day off and I did pay for a hotel. You can avoid all that with the heads up.

wait so anything in sections 1-11 on the floor are standing? it says reserved seating & rows on ticketmaster
If it says GA it is General Admission
It may say GA3 GA7 .. it doesn't matter - that's just for them to keep track of how many people and stuff. GA is all the same.
That's sorta true. Years ago, GA was GA and you could go anywhere on the floor. I noticed recently though they have sections on the floor now.

GN'R & MLB?

Another good reason to watch the playoffs!

What's so bad about taking a kid to a show?
I have taken my sons. My older son's first show was Def Leppard. He was 7 and we were in the first row. He did just fine. He ended up being handed a guitar pick and shook hands will all of them at the end. He talked about it for a very long time.
No, I didn't give him beer. No, I don't live in a trailer. No, my husband doesn't beat me. Yes, he gets straight "A"s in school.

I bought tickets thru a presale in the past and then again on the day they went on sale to everyone and the seats that I got on the day for everyone were better, so what's the point?
-
Wow - you guys keep track of everything.
I have gone to 100's of shows back in the late 80's and early 90's, but I couldn't list them.
I saw GNR in '88 and 4 times in the early 90's. Oh and yeah, I was so lucky to be in Philly in 2002. I do remember that!

GA is ilegal here in areans since the Who thing in Cincinatti in '82.
Yeah...GA went right down the toilet everywhere after the Who thing (...in '79).
GA used to be great at concerts, first come-first served used to be awesome....no coroporate whores in the prime seats...just the hardcore fans.
bring back more GA I say!!
Not really. All the shows that I went to in the 80's and early 90's were GA. Seated sucks. Now you have to plan way ahead to go to a show, either stand in line forever or have no life and can sit at the phone for the exact minute that you can buy the ticket. It was much nicer to decide the day of the show whether or not you wanted to go and could still be in the front row!

All these Bun Jivi haters know too many lyrics
I was thinking that same thing.
We're actually Bon Jovi lovers.... and we're giving love a bad name.
We know how you closet lovers are.
-
All these Bun Jivi haters know too many lyrics
LOL - exactly what I was thinking!
-
I don't dislike Bon Jovi at all. Hell, they are better than most of the crap out there these days!
I find it interesting that LEAKS are making musicians nervous. It's all good!
-
Axl warned you...it was going to be 'different'...This will not be as heavy as past GNR records. Consider the days of Perfect Crime, Coma, Garden of Eden, etc., to be over....
Say hello to November Rain clones.
Not a whole album about how heart broken he was when Steph left!

I don't really want Slash to join GN'R again now. Maybe in a few years with the other guys, but not now.
In a few years, these guys will be too old, and nobody will give a shit about a GN'R reunion.
Tell that to the Stones, Pink Floyd and The Who.
-
Look at all those teenagers around Axl. He looks out of place. He needs to be surrounded by his older fans like me!
It's great to see him out and about again. I hope he rocks the world again!
-
is it just me or does that other guy look like he's in love? the way he's leaning in, like he's about to turn and give him a kiss or something. kinda creepy looking.
LOL - Hell, I'd be all over his ass if I was that close!
-
Upstate New York! We're always forgotten. NYC does not count for the Upstate fans!!
-
Yay! Axl looks great!
-
To me, Blind Melon's songs were great mainly due to Shannon's voice.
-
Nice one, Peg. Can you believe that he actually looks like your avatar for the ENTIRE show? One time when I saw them, he almost stepped on my feet TWICE.
anyway - I'm going to go with Mick too. He was in his mid 50's last time I saw the RS and he NEVER stopped moving the entire time. He ran up and down stairs the entire time.
-
well the point was to play some live shows for the fans. i'm glad i got to see it.
Agreed..I'm glad I got to see a show too.
Testing waters, showing the new line up and what to expect is what I thought it was all about...But they shouldn't have named it the "Chinese Democracy World Tour"
Good for you two! I was left hanging in Philly! After 4 years, I was beginning to give up ever seeing GNR again, but now....
