lack of new music, stale stage, videos, setlist & lack of new live recordings.

Guns N'Roses posted these photos on their YouTube channel with a "Behind the tour" legend
and yes, Axl should perform like this
those are 2023 pics? doubt it

well, this tour is selling poorly, and it's all on the band. nothing new, ever. no new promos, just that "machine is getting started" bullshit. no new show, even when it was advertised as "new chapter".

i was hoping for Dallas 16, Coachella or Troubador... That's so lame

Still trying to figure out if the low voice he used at the end of YCBM in Melbourne ‘22 was his actual live vocals or he was singing over a backing track
saw the video, didn't heard it, mind sharing?

Couldn't recognize who is singing.

On another note, did you feel a little bit of 2002? Cause me and some other guy think it reminded us of 2002 vma sound
Yes, I heard it as well. 2002 vibes, except from the weak falsettos spots, just if he could sing THAT way again.

European leg is selling okay. North American leg on the other hand.. AZ concert barely sold any tickets.

Is this the most isolated we have heard Axl's singing voice in the current era? It's not that bad. 🤷🏻♂️
Proof that TB's videos are poorly mixed

Vocally speaking was a great performance all things considered. Kudos to Axl for doing this. His speech was very beautiful and emotional. I'm sure Lisa is proud.

great reckless life. seems like Axl is getting comfortable with his voice, he's pushing for it, and it's coming.

That's what I thought too. He's def there between Frank and Melissa in the video.
Drums and bass do sound a bit like it, but the rhythm guitar arrangement is totally different, with different chords. I'm still not convinced.
What video?

There was one soundcheck from the 2021 where they played Hard Skool without Axl. And I think it was the first time they did it, so I guess it can be one new song, just don't know wich one it is

They have their own record label now (plus a new publishing company). They're still with UMG, but seemingly under a different kind of deal (exclusive license to release and distribute GN'R music).
How do we know that?

ISE - Good opener, but since I saw them in 2016, would be nice to see another opening song.Mr. Brownstone - Good 2nd song, one of my favourites.
Chinese Democracy - I loved to see the "New GN'R" logo in the screen. Great song live.
WTTJ - Well, nothing to say. Rumble intro kills the vibe.
Better - I loved the way they played it on 2006/2010 concerts. Hearing this for the 2nd time with this band incarnation, it wasn't their best moment. Seemed that something was missing, don't know. For me, it can be replaced with another Chinese Democracy song.
Reckless Life - 1st time hearing it live, Axl is always great on the fast paced songs. Went crazy for that one.
DTJ - Slash's solo at the end is beautiful live. The extended intro could be shortened tho. You don't need to extend the intro and the outro.
Live and Let Die - Classic live. Crowd loved it. In the past, I really tought that this one could be dropped. Well, it's a great song live, so I don't want it do be dropped anymore.
Estranged - Nothing to say. Slash kills in it. Beautiful.
Shadow of Your Love - Same as Reckless Life.
Rocket Queen - The intro jam and the middle section kills the vibe a little. Could be shortened.
YCBM - Nothing to say.
Attitude - It was fun to hear. Loved Duff's interaction with the crowd.
Absurd - 1st time hearing it live. It's even better. Suits Axl's voice very well.
Hard Skool - 1st time hearing it live. Last chorus was a mess, but it was a good version.
Civil War - One of my favourites, and I love hearing it just like they're playing it, a bit slow.
Sorry - Well, nobody in the stadium seemed to recognize this one, but it was my 1st time hearing it with Duff & Slash, so I loved it.
Slash Solo / SCOM - There's no need to say that this needs to be played. I witnessed a few casuals hearing and leaving the stadium as soon it was done, like it was the only song that GN'R has. Anyway.
November Rain - Miss the pyro, and it's very emotional to me. Cried a lot.
Wichita Lineman - I liked hearing it live, but nobody cared about this one. Could be replace with any GN'R song.
KOHD - It's so long that it gets boring during it. Not even live it's fun. 2001 version was way better.
Nightrain - Works great as a set closer. Axl went for his low rasp and it was there. It was awesome. Stadium went nuts.
Coma - Great way to start the encore. Casuals don't recognize this one, but I didn't care, was jumping and screaming since it's my favourite GN'R song.
Patience - Axl's whistle is beautiful, like a Disney princess. Song is beautiful and I dig the new Blackbird intro.
Don't Cry - 1st time hearing it with Slash, since they didn't played it in 2016. Classic solo and Axl's low voice works really well in both songs (Patience & Don't Cry)
Paradise City - great set closer, nothing be said about it.
I missed Axl's rants, Slither, Only Women Bleed intro, one rare song from Chin Dem (like TWAT or Maddy) and You're Crazy (there was a 30-40 sec spot in the set when there was no lights in the stage, really hoped that they were going to bust it live). My 4th show, and I think it was the best one so far. From what I've seen, there was no lack of energy from the band as someone said here, specially if you consider that they're touring since June with 1 month only of rest, and the calendar of this south american leg is extensive.
Well, that being said, if you have any doubts about buying a ticket to see them live, do it. We don't know how many tours we got left. I went with low expectations and saw a GREAT concert. Can't wait for the next one

Fuckin great concert. 3hrs. The band is made to see live and not through livestreams. The sound was great. Duff's bass was powerful in the mix, as it was Slash's guitar and Axl's voice. Speaking of it, he was very good tonight, specially after Reckless Life. No Slither or Only Women Bleed intro. Will elaborate more tomorrow.
Maybe i'm drunk, but I really LOVE this band.

Just to clear up (I haven't followed the thread closely in the past months), when did the first title start showing up? I have a vague recollection that Soul Monster gave a result some weeks (or months) back, but I might be wrong and confusing with HS last year.
Timeline seems correct, even with the "what would you add" setlist post.
2023 WORLD TOUR
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS

Looking at some big acts that are touring in 2023, i feel a little depressed when thinking about GN'R.
Alice Cooper - new setlist, live debuts, new opener, one song for the first time since 1991, other first time since 2017, new set closer.c
Metallica - two nights in a row, two entire different setlists, songs that weren't played since a long time, new stage, new songs.
Bruce Springsteen - 30 concerts in, 56 songs played so far, not the same song opening or closing the set, not the same set length everynight.
GN'R - ?
