I only just watched the second 'Select' and thought it was basically what I expected.

'Slither' was okay, 'You Could Be Mine' & 'Sweet Child' were poor.

The mix was much better on this video  and I liked that it was a longer clip.

Hopefully something from 2016 comes next.

Thats because download festival filmed and recorded the set, they released easy & Jungle 18 months ago too

Yea I was just talking about the US shows. It's different in Europe because they haven't toured there as often as North America, they haven't over-saturated the market and can still play big festivals and stadiums. The novelty of the reunion seems to have worn off in the US though. That's not a shot at the band either, playing to a few thousand people is still considered successful obviously, but it was inevitable that people would lose interest without something new.

The thing with europe too, they dont put fucking seats on the deck and let us stand, i know u do once the gig starts but the whole atmosphere is deferent, plus American crowds seem a bit boring compared to here in Europe and South America

First time I saw SMKC was at Manchester Arena in 2014. Not all sections were open, sure, but it was still easily 10,000+ that night. He also played Leeds Arena, the NEC, and Wembley Arena during that same leg.

The reason Slash doesn't play big shows with the Conspirators is because it doesn't want or have to. The World on Fire tour was an arena tour across Europe, but as soon as he rejoined Guns he went back to playing theatres and ball halls with The Conspirators – because he could. He's always said he prefers smaller venues, so if he's playing stadiums and arenas with his 'day job', it makes sense to have fun playing the smaller places with his passion project if he's able to.

Doncaster dome, about 2k there, apollo at Manchester, i guess about 1500 to 2k

I bet there wasn't 10k in Manchester arena, the whole top tier was closed off

Wembley arena and the NEC, both the 2nd biggest arenas in their cities.. Im not saying its a bad band, i just think Myles is a bit dull... I bet neither arena was sold out

They also subheadlined download festival roughly 100k people, seen them at 10k venues in UK. They're a decent sized band for sure. not a fan of the past 2 albums, world on fire was ok i guess but slash and apocalyptic love were awesome. LTD was cock rock boredom.

Being a 2nd headliner at a festival... Its not their crowd, ive seen them twice here in the uk, wasn't 5k at both shows combined, they dont play the big arenas here

Again, the myth that slash is in GnR to pay off his ex wife! hes earned 10s of millions more likely over $100m for this tour, they were divorced before this tour started! Slash is not poor because of his divorce!

    Isn't it something like 300k a month she's getting

You may not like Slash’s solo band, but they were close to headlining festivals in Australia, along with nearly selling out 10,000 seater arenas on their last few tours here. They’re not GN’R levels sure, but they’re not just some shitty bar band either

Ive seen them twice, they're a tight band but there's one weak link

He's got his permanent solo career this time around though, if the guns thing doesn't work out he'll just keep going regardless. In every sense he's in a much better position this time than in 96 to do whatever he wants.

His solo career.... Axl on a bad day beats myles on his best day.. They wont make money touring bingo halls and bowling alleys, GNR will always sell more tickets... Money matters when you're paying your ex wife off

I'd pay everything I have to see the Illusions- tour-Axl. He was incredible back then, though he was even better in the '80s.

The band played it how the song should be played. Nothing to moan about it.

It wont happen, and neither will this one but I'd take 2006 Axl over anything from the 90s voice wise

While flipping thru youtube vids last night, my wife and I watched the latest NITL selects. She likes GnR, we have the CDs in the car, etc. She thought it was absolutely terrible because of Axls voice, she said the band sounded like bad karaoke. We made it to SCOM and had to turn it off because it sounded like a parody. He has to do something about it.

Sweet child has been crap live for 30 years

That's a setlist from November, TWAT was played on 20th April 2016.. Also Better was played quite late in the set during the April shows, that changed during the NA summer tour.. On this setlist, Better is listed early

So I think this is the setlist from one of the November 2016 gigs, even though Yesterdays was played on 29th November and Used To Love Her was played on 30th November and both are not printed

Feels like CSI:MyGNR.. we need new music

The night Yesterdays was in the encore?

Can we have a pro shot of Back in Black from Axl DC Phili 2016? Quite frankly one of the most ridiculously high quality vocal performances from any rock singer ever. He sounds like a razor on it, incredible.

Which part of that tour was NITL? I'd be on an ACDC forum for that one & for those that want a better ISE and a Jungle...download fest put those on YouTube about 18 months ago

  11. Robin has zero interest in joining joke, unproductive bands. He's fine in NIN. We, Robin Finck fans, are enjoying him in NIN, a great, productive, relevant band. :)

He's great in NIN yes , he's on the most of gnr's unreleased chinese leftovers ... He could be the one to kick Axl's ass into playing them live?

Take it that I'm along for too much, ah well I'm off to see acdc tomorrow , a band that release music . Take note Guns
