  1. Maybe it's all getting too much, attempting to live up to what's expected, the rod made for one's own back. Maybe he has no idea of (new) direction either, maybe he really can't be bothered with new music, the record industry etc, and touring old music with a bunched of hired hands fulfills his current desire to a certain extent. Maybe the penny has dropped that he really isn't what he used to be, nor does his band match that of the GN'R heyday. For sure he is getting old, making no attempt to hide it, and just might call it a day sooner rather than later.

  2. The questions have been chosen by the voting public:

    1. Axl, when are we going to hear new music?

    2. Axl, you mentioned an autobiography the last time we spoke to you, do you plan on releasing that?

    3. Axl, do you still intend to release Chinese Democracy II... or have you shifted mentally towards a record capturing the talents of the current line-up?

    4. Axl, will you ever debut new material live again or did Chinese Democracy sour that idea?

    5. Axl, GNR has always released new music by way of albums, would you ever consider releasing new songs individually?

Step 2 in this process is to gauge how we should put this letter to Team Brazil. We approached different people to write a letter and a draft is currently in editing. Does anybody have any suggestions with regards themes/artwork/arguements that should be contained in the letter? Are you all satisfied with the questioning and its wording?

If you have anything you would like to say privately, contact me or Manets.

Think cryptic anwsers, and there's your anwser(s)..

    1. when was the last time you visited a strip club?

    2. far from easy..

    3. the answer to the question is in the question

    4. (pulls face as to not understand)

    5. not always.. (ignores 2nd part of question)

  3. Bucket's nightrain solo from boston 2002 is probably one of the greatest GnR solos from the new band.

Buckethead's NT solo from Boston 02 is probably one of the greatest solos period. I LOVE that solo.

Does that mean the current line up should be called The New New Band, as the Robin/Buckethead/Brain era ended years ago.. ..and the New New band have yet to record and release anything..

  4. He has that special kind of loyalty that Axl so values: the blind kind.

    Lol!

Dizzy was fired around the same time Slash and Duff left. However Dizzy just kept on showing up... Even after being replaced.

    hahahahaha can you imagine that?

Axl: "What are you doing here? I fired you last year. We even replaced you with this new guy here, this is Chris."

Chris: "Yo. So you're the infamous Slash."

Dizzy: "But Axl, I have nowhere to go, please let me stay in the rehearsal."

    Axl: "OK, you can watch."

Dizzy: "I brought my keyboard, is it ok if a play along?"

Axl: "Uh... Ok I gues... Guys, keep it very low in the mix, please. Chris, are you ok with this?"

Chris: "Whatever you say, boss. Where's the booze?"

Then on 2001 they came to Rio...

Axl: "Dizzy? Are you on vacation here?"

Dizzy: "Well, actually I was wondering if you could let me play with you guys. Keep me very low in the mix, you know..."

Axl: "Jesus Christ, Dizzy... I'll let it, but only because the Rock in Rio stage is gigantic and no one will actually notice you. I mean, I can't do that to Chris."

Chris: "Boss, I already said I don't give a fuck about Slash. Where's the booze?"

Then on 2006 he got braids along with Axl...

Axl: "Dizzy, what the fuck happened to your hair? Are these braids? I can't believe."

Dizzy: "Oh man, I had never noticed you had braids as well! What a coincidence. Hey Chris, where are your braids? Don't have? Ha!"

Two years later Robin got braids - true story, for the NIN tour - so Axl fired him because this was getting of out control. True story.

    Great!

    +1

    Haha.. 'Where's the booze?" :rofl-lol:

  5. I don't think GN'R come into it.. where next for AXL? might be more apt..

Once Axl decides what's next.. the hired hands will follow, providing Axl don't leave it too long..

My guess is, Axl will head home (next) and checkout all the feed back from the past few years. Next he'll either ponder future music, or do something else.. who really knows?

  6. That concert in Sydney was great altogether.

I like the Made In Stoke Blu Ray, but I think Sydney deserves a release in hi def as well.

Definitely, the Sidney gig was amazing. The whole band sounded incredibly good. Gn'R songs never sounded like that since 1993.

    +1

They should release the Sydney gig..

  7. (to the original post(er) Some fans picked up waaay more than one copy. Some picked up both the CD and the Vinyl (like me for example). I think it is safe to say, the song's off Chinese don't get much air play, if any at all. The album failed to contain a single hit. Where are the music video's? .. there was one for Better, why not release it?

  8. Of the 5 of them, it seems Adler was the big hit with the ladies. Slash was popular too, like Axl said, Slash would drink too much, pass out, and Axl would then hit on the girls, once Slash was out the way (those arn't the exact words). I always got the impression, Axl wasn't such a hit with the ladies, and when he was seen out with someone, it always seemed for show. He can't have any girl, as he as a rock star thing to live up to.
