I wish I wasn't 4 when this show happened. Would have loved to have gone lol
This made me go watch OTGM from Houston 2016 and 2016 Axl doesn't get enough credit. He really was great most of that tour. Glad I saw them twice
100% agree on all of this!

I wish I was at that rock on the range. Been there a number of times but couldn't make it to that one unfortunately. I did go to the warm up show in Bethlehem tho at a very small casino venue which was cool
That was a fun show! The microphone grazed the tips of my fingers that night. Was so damn close to getting it

At the end of paradise city something happened to his voice, it was like he blew it out, or he awakened the rasp. Here’s hoping it’s the latter. It was hard to tell on the stream I was watching. Can anyone confirm? It sounded like his voice went, cracked, and then the rasp was there

What an awesome tour it was though! For those of us lucky enough to see it. I went to Pittsburgh and had tickets to DC, but it was canceled by then. I still say that tour had the best LALD version I’ve ever heard!

That was the year he also opened that little show at the Brooklyn Bowl with Youre crazy and had one of the best vocal performances while sick.
I can confirm this one me! He did sound awesome on that one. It was cool that it was the opener too

I really wish they'd do the confetti during PC again. It just adds to the experience live.
Me too! It definitely adds. I also miss the pyro spots. Particularly during LALD, November Rain, and paradise city
Overall, I think this was a great show. I’d say top 2 or 3 of this tour so far. Had I been there, I’m sure I wouldn’t have been disappointed. Hoping they sound this good or better for Atlantic City and Baltimore

Witchata and the seeker are some of the best performances in the set. Also glad they’re doing patience and don’t cry, crowd pleasers and Axl sounds great on them

I'm still at work, have they played Madagascar? It’s starting now

Ok for real, during KOHD, I got up and went to the bathroom. Packed my lunch for tomorrow, and then got in hot tub long enough to wear I’m already hot and it’s time to get out lol. I think they keep taking it longer and longer. It’s a great song, but only about a 3-4 minute one. Maybe meet us in the middle and do like 7 or 8 minutes. That plenty of time for some solos and crowd singalongs

What did he say?
It was hard to tell. I think he said something about someone being in the hospital?

Such a long speech for Wichita? Come on.
I thought the same thing. Although they sounded great on that one

When slash started his solo, I thought he was playing “im the one” from VanHalen. I heard rumor before the tour started that they rehearsed a VH song. Kinda made sense to me since slash was a big fan of EVH and the fact that wolfie is the opener. I know the last thing we need is another cover, but as a fan, I’d dig a VH song.

I think absurd comes across so much better as a live song. They all seem to enjoy playing it!
whoever is streaming tonight is doing a great job! Thanks for the stream and the link, whoever it was that posted it!- 3

I might sound like a heretic, but i don't think Axl really sounds like shit this tour. Sure, he's nowhere near as good as 2016/2017, but he still hits a lot of the notes he needs to, and he can keep it going well. Not bad for an old geezer.
Haha yeah I’m fairly impressed with tonight’s rocket queen and better. 2 of the harder songs he has. Way better than when I saw them in Hershey
-
Axl isn’t as bad as I thought on rocket queen. Not the best, but passable. Especially if you’re there, I’m sure the atmosphere helps.
-
I’m glad Axl is giving it his all. The most energetic I’ve seen him since 06’ or 10’, but I’m worried his voice is really gone this time. Everyone says he needs a vocal coach, but I don’t know how much that would help at this point. Oh well he is 59. Just glad he’s trying. Also nice to him jumping again during better. I always get a kick out of that

I just saw that there are a few tickets available on the floor for $89. One of them is on slash’s side in the 11th row. Man I hate Ticketmaster! How they change their prices daily is such a crime! I wish someone could compete with them to keep them somewhat honest. Similar to how Lowe’s and Home Depot compete with each other. They have price matching. Also at Lowe’s, if you buy something and then it goes on sale within 30 days, you can get a refund. I used this when I bought lumber for a roofing project. I paid $52 a sheet and then 3 weeks later it was down to $34 a sheet. They refunded me the difference. For this show in Indy, I’m sure many have paid the $250plus for the same or even lesser value of their tickets. Nonsense!
