I think the official video is from a show in Kansas City, Arrowhead stadium on the tour with Metallica.
Read that on the GNRontour site...

I asked Duff about this on a meet and greet back in 2007 with Velvet Revolver...he said "oh man, that whole project got shelved"
Slash leaned over and said "what was that?"
Duff "He asked about the documentary"

I don't need another manufactured live era disc.
straight soundboard or nothing
-
I'll never forget seeing the movie THE DEAD POOL and immediately being blown away by the song Jim Carey lip synched to. Of course, that was Welcome to the Jungle!
Then I bought both UYI on CD the morning they came out on my way to HS

I played it last month in Vegas at the HOF, its a lot of fun to play. The gun for the shooter, a rose for the plunger on the front.
still better than the much newer Metallica one, also there at the HOF

The Old Band will be the New band.
Reunion would be the BIGGEST thing since the Rolling Stones.
They HAVE to do it, i don't care about any other band, i want MY Guns N' Roses back

Excellent Job!!!
one mistake...after NY in 2002, you stated the show to phily was cancelled because his plane had issues coming from LA. He never left NY for all intents and purposes...

I had a rental car...was visiting from Las Vegas.
I could have rang the bell and said Arni's pizza delivery, I know he loves that stuff

the perspective he sees. Also, what the area is like, super cool location he picked out over 20 years ago.I'm not trying to be a dick, but what did you get out of that experience? Anything?
It's something I've always wanted to do, and very happy that I did.

Nothing stalkerish about it at all LOL
Its a public road.
Wasn't pressing buttons on the box or climbing his fence or anything.
Some killer cars up the driveway though!

not sure how to post my own pics here....but i was in Malibu and decided to ride up PRIVATE Canyon and check it out. Very cool setting for the house, its sort of on a cliff with a big lot overlooking the Pacific ocean. I wondered if the neighbor living across the road on the other side ever gets annoyed with people stopped there and taking pics, ETC.
Its in a very nice spot but i can see how with the distance to LA and traffic out there, how one would just stay there and not leave much, its more of a hassle than you could imagine.
All in all i felt since i've been following the band in one form or another since 1987/88, this was something i needed to do! Ive been to Lafayette, In Many times previously.
Also spent some time at the Rainbow, there's a very cool collage of pics on the wall headed upstairs with Guns stuff on it, many familiar pics....
I asked the waitress and she pointed out the booth where November Rain was filmed and to this day, its Slash's booth when he comes in, which is quite frequently.
She mentioned seeing Axl in there once, but that she hardly recognized him

what band?
there hasn't been a "band" since 1996ish
Axl already retired, he just didn't tell anyone.
-
he is likely bald.....you never see him with hair out anymore without something on top
-
The first show in Las Vegas in 2000/2001, All that excitement leading up to it
-
Looks like Wembly, August 91

Not to mention the fact that rumor came out a year ago or so that "everyone was released from contracts, etc" the inactivity since then speaks volumes
Rumors have a tendency to be true...
-
That quote does say it all. Wow, Guns N' Fuckin Roses is dead.
Long live GN'F'R
-
I just can't see there ever being another album, any "new" music coming out.
Its reunion or bust at this point.
-
The entire time from 1996 thru 2002 they were either fully working on the album or touring.
What?
There was band activity that entire period. Am I wrong?
-
The entire time from 1996 thru 2002 they were either fully working on the album or touring. Then from 2003-2005 there was basically nothing happening, then a flurry of activity since 2006 till last summer.
I would say, at this point in time, GUNS N' ROSES no longer is an active band, they are effectively dead.
Thoughts/comments?
