  1. It's disturbing how young she is. From the pictures I would have thought she was 15. If she was born in 1995 then in 2012 she must have been just 16 or 17. For some reason I always thought Axl wouldn't be interested in girls quite so young.

It wouldn't be so bad if she was a 20 something. Then it would just be in bad taste.

  2. Slash may be a cancer, but so is everyone. Humans are "the cancer of the earth".

I have lost loved ones to cancer (the disease), but I'd think it silly to be offended just because someone was using the word in a different context.

  3. Regression therapy is infamous for creating false memories.

However, I see no reason to doubt Axl's recollections of abuse that occurred later in childhood when he was old enough to form conscious memories.

As for Amy, she confirmed she was sexually abused for about twenty years. It seems rather farfetched to think she would make such serious allegations just to show support to Axl's allegations. Why would she hate her own father enough to come up with such vicious lies if nothing ever happened?

  4. Maybe she still loves him. She stayed with him for four years despite the violence and cheating, so I take it her feelings for him run deep.

Since we are discussing the content of the letters (which admittedly puts him in a good light but which could still be hurtful to him if they were disclosed) I think I remember that he claimed in one of the letters that he was never unfaithful to her.

Rather he was making excuses for it.

  5. Personally as a fan I wouldn't as much as consider bidding for any of these items if I thought that by doing so I was hurting Axl.

As it is, with the usual lack of communication, it's really hard to know what to think.

I don't really see anything in this material that would do any concrete damage or hurt Axl's reputation. The letters and notes for the most part show him as sweet and loving - nothing anyone in their right mind would hold against him. As for the police report, it's not exactly new news that he abused her, so there's little further damage in having this out.

Still, I can see how Axl might feel violated, cheap and used, if he wasn't consulted about this at all. Also, I wonder if all of this stuff is really Erin's to sell? Did Axl actually give all of these items to her, including such things as letters from his stepfather? Morally, I think some of this stuff belongs to Axl even if it's been in Erin's possession for so long that he can't legally demand it back.
