Boldly NO. Axl cannot own Gn'R...he thought he could own it and it all dispersed from his eyes by 1996. Why he can't accept it is his insanity, his problem. This is a totally different band, nothing like Guns N' Roses, BUT it is as great as them, Gn'R started off on Appetite For Destruction...this band is going to start on Chinese Democracy. A much better start in my view.

I 've been noticing the few and many things that Robin does...his melodic guitaring style, sound, emotion and that one-off when he wore a top hat. And he originally was a fill-in for Slash in 1996. I think the guy really admires Slash a lot and has had quite an influence on his music by Slash. Anybody else agree?

chaw bumblefoot is the best. he 's the person you would want to have play in your band...he 's so down to earth, nicely styled and his guitaring is amazing. Gn'R shows now really sound better with him in the band than Buckethead. Because Bumblefoot is a team player whilst he can still very often show how good a guitarist he really is. But Buckethead was just like 'look at me look what I can do" and a tool with his stupid KFC Bucket, Kabuki mask and raincoats. Bumblefoot is the man rock1

But YCBM was the greatest live song when Guns N' Roses played it. This band can play it pretty well but just not the same. In reference to Perfect Crime, is it just me or is anybody else scratching their head wondering why it wasn't a standard song for every show?

I think a part of 2002 actually showed how intense this band can perform instrumentally...at least all the August tour dates in Asia & Europe kicked major ass. The sound was immensely powerful and intense and amazing.

The truth is however that when Guns N' Roses broke up in 1996/97 unlike his former bandmates Slash, Duff and Matt....he did not have the balls to move on from the break up and accept what happened and to restart his career. The truth is that he is affraid to step out into the real rock world with a band in his own name, and not with that of what was the greatest band ever. Because he knows that his masterpiece album wouldn't be much without the backing of Guns N' Roses songs and without adding the history of the world's greatest band to his own solo band. I think it 's what prevents a lot of people from respecting the man. You can see he 's affraid to play the game fair. And it 's a pity, all this hard work he 's done and all this great music and shows his band do and they ruin every single bit of it by pretending they are Guns N' Roses. They know they aren't, he knows they aren't, Slash said damn well good when he said "I would perform with them on a one off but I will not join a bunch of guys pretending to be Guns N' Roses". However, as I said this is a very great band and they don't need to be verbally bashed just because they pretend to be something they are not, they 're great musicians and can sure as hell play the fuck out of anything. For you other people who agree with this my advice would be, if you don't like the bandname thing...just ignore it and don't call them Gn'R...but you can still love them for their music and how they play. Long live this great band...

How did you react when hearing that Brain had to leave the tour...did you still follow the band as tightly? Personally before he left I tightly followed each gig but with him gone...i stopped following the gigs, it just wasn't the same....one of the most important sounds of the band IMO is his drumming. Not that his understudy wasnt no good but...this tour was about the current Gn'R and not replacements.

I personally would like Chinese Democracy to be released and toured and release the watever second album he 's planning to release that he 's been working on for as well and tour it, then reunite with , Matt, Duff and put in Izzy/Gilby or hopefully both of them( ) and bring back Guns N' Roses with the prime line-up and keep doing albums with reunited Gn'R till they retire. I mean sure this new band is nice but it would not be a very dignified way of finishing the band.

These guys are very talented musicians when put together. They are a powerful team. And if they got sick of Axl and all left him and made their own band with their own replacement singer, I would buy their music and even attend a live show by them

I 've been reading numerous posts up to now and I have really soaked up a lot of responses from Axlites and thought somebody should publically point them all out. What are you Axlites trying to do? You all think you are some hardcore bunch of people but really all you are are people who are so stuck up Axl's ass that you don't care about anything stupid he does. You try to intimidate other people from pointing out his mistakes or from expressing disappointment over some bad things he does and continually bash them for choosing to point out things. People here all have the right to point out bad things about Axl if they like. If he 's unloyal to his fans, if people don't like him using the name Gn'R for his own band, if people don't like his lack of decent live material and want to say it out, let them. Who do you think you are to intimidate people of expressing their honest opinions. Not everybody wants to suck Axl's dick and I assure you most people will not. You just have to accept that he has done a lot of bad things which have lead him to being in the position he still kind of is in and that people don't have to keep in their disappointment with him if they are disappointed. A suggestion...if you want a forum purely of people who suck Axl's dick and never say anything about him, why don't you make your own forum or section to this forum for those people. Somebody had to say this...Kaneda didn't so I did.

I like that last one. That 'll last as a memory. Shows us that Axl is there for us and will do the right thing and halt it immediately if he catches crooked security guards beating up fans just for the sake of it.

About this Chinese Democracy material, what has not been shown yet (which pray to god will be on the album or I will kill Axl) is speedy songs with great drum parts and jams/solos like You Could Be Mine and Double Talkin' Jive. If the band would make more songs like that or if they already have made songs as such, surely they could win more and more fans.

Do you really want Guns to be on MTV? Possibly the worst music station ever. Fuck that. I don't want to see them inbetween a bunch of emo and rap bastards.

buying an album is buying an album. You go to a shop when you wanna buy one, buy it, open it and look at hte booklet on your way home and then play it when you get home. And I 'm not gonna stand in line for hours waiting for a shop to open so i can buy it, I will just go at a comfortable time when I can nicely walk in there with no rush and just buy it. i hate it when people here are obsessed with buying this thing. it 's not like you 're buying a chip that 's gonna save the world from being destroyed by aliens people.

I just had a listen to YCBM from Newcastle July 19th, and it doesnt seem to have the explosions after that uprising drum sequence. I really hope they dropped it because it ruins the whole front bit. On a note You Could Be Mine is kicking ass again with the new Gn'R. They finally picked up the pace and are playing this song pure hardcore again. Can't have a good Gn'R concert if you could be mine ain't good...that 1 minute intro showcases everything...the sound of guitars, the drums. Anyways I really hope this is a permanent thing to drop the explosives and not temporary if it has been dropped
