i voted motley crue because i dotn consider van halen hair metal.

ive noticed a lot of people on the internet boards hate hair metal from the 80s. I dont understand why though. Sure they will never be as good as Guns n roses, aerosmith or led zepplin, but they didnt try to be. They were all about having fun and making fun music everyone could enjoy. Anyways i was wondering what u guys think of hair metal bands like warrant, poison, bon jovi ect....

Get "Thank You," I bought that first along with the dvd and it's what led me to buying or somehow getting a copy of their 5 studio albums. I got Purple first since "Interstate Love Song" was the first song that really caught my attention, then Core after that because I thought "Plush" was pretty cool too. Purple's my favorite.

the only thing i hate about buying greatest hits or best of albums is that u dont get teh same first impression on the album or yoru expecting more or less when you buy it after hearing songs of a greatst hits.

purple is the best, but if your looking more for rock buy core.

Its tough but i had to go with skid row. they were harder rocking and slave to gridn is one of my favoruite albums.

i thought they didnt either up until a fewq days ago when i downloaded i think the 1990 rip magazine party where skid row guns n roses and metallica all preform together at the same time. Quality is crap but its damn cool to see bach singing your crazy and axl singing skid row.

it depends, if it meant the person could not sing live at all meaning their voice was shit, id boycott them because it would mean the album was fake too, but if they had already proven themselves then i guess id lose respect but still buy there albums.
