I paid £28 for a ticket in 1993.

Well, yeah. Those prices are for FOS1. I imagine though they could also add platinum tickets for FOS2.
Oh ok. Yeah FOS1 for me. I cant risk esp if FOS1 is too long. For Red Hot Chili Peppers, I got FOS2 cuz they are my #4 band. Not in my top 3. Top 3- front or I wont attend!!!

That's platinum. Regular it's 162 or something.
Platinum is GC 1 right? Regular is the one behind platinum?

When you're in that part of Germany consider that on friday, 2 days before GNR, Hollywood Vampires are playing in Mainz. That's just a half hour distance by train.
Got my tickets since May last year. Lol.

Wait. So Germany Golden Circle is 279 Euros, while France is 122 Euros?

Ugh. They at least could have added a flashlight!

What is the free item for Early Entry? "An exclusive merchandise item" it says, aside from the lanyard.

Like I said in Milano I got there at around 9:30 and was #44. But that's Italy. Germans probably are a little less crazy. Tako, who's probably the Queen of early entry, got there at around noon. And I think she still ended up in the front, like always.
I met Tako once lol. Is she still attending?

What time do EE holders usually line up? What time is best to go to be front and center?

No. Oslo is a festival and I will slum it in Bern.
Wanted to get regular GC. I never bought EE before and always ended front and center. But I am getting old and fat, I cannot run nor slip thru tight spots as I used to. Oh well.

Well, I'm not really all that willing to pay that fucking 370 for EE. Yet.
You got EE for others? Might get regular GC for Paris. Too expensive esp since it is a vacation for me

Yep. Oslo and Bern, though I almost said fuck it to Bern. Damn swiss charging 220 sfr for GC. Still on the fence about Frankfurt.
Join me in Frankfurt!!!

Just got GC Early Entry for Germany. Add shipping to Philippines(which is 30+ Euros), 409.40 Euros!!! FUCK!

Ticketmaster create the illusion of demand to shift tickets at higher prices in crappy locations. If it says it's sold out, it may well not be. They're bastards.
Don't be fooled by any of their crap or pay too much for anything you don't really want.
It isnt. Golden Circle for Paris was sold out. 10 minutes later, available again. They want you to panic and pull the trigger.

That would be worse imo, like you think you're going to meet the band then it's just the hired members or something.
You gather at designated point for meet and greet, someone from management picks you up and lead you to a room, asks you to wait. Everyone is excited, bringing GN'R pics(esp Slash and Axl), CDs, etc. hoping to get an autograph too. Doors open... Frank and Melissa walks in.

If Steel Panther opens for them, the price would be easier to swallow. Oh well.

Thanks guys! I might do Germany and France now.
I guess if they change the setlist or even shuffle it, it would help fighting the “less hyped” feeling.
-
Is it cool or does it get tiring/boring?
I mean of course, the place/venue, people/crowd adds to the experience. But I meant the band and the show itself, with almost same setlist. Not judging or mocking, in fact, I am contemplating on watching 2-3 shows in Europe this July, but I am afraid I might find it boring the 2nd time around in such a short time. Or you guys still get lots of fun?
THANKS! -

ticketmaster uses whats called "dynamic pricing" now... ive also seen prices go up
Yeah. RHCP's Germany tickets went up slowly.

Don't worry about prices folks- remember what happened last time, especially in the US? People were picking up great tickets for super cheap nearer the time.
Don't pay the high prices unless you're super desperate- learn from the past.
Does this count for Europe?

Anyone got the Paris prices for both standing and seated?
also, how are the seating experience for GNR? I plan to do pit on one show, then with a girl, we will just do sitting.

Ah, okay. Thanks. They are really milking it. But 250 € for regular Early Entry is a good price. I wonder how much they sell. There was also a rather cheap Early Entry in Gdansk. Turned out though that half the stadium had Early Entry.
Newsletter.
They didnt regulate EE sales as long as many wanna buy it?

Who Dictates the Setlist- Axl or a Group(Big 3) Decision?

or is it actually Fernando and/or Beta?!
I havent been to SMKC concerts for a decade now but I remember they changed their setlist a lot. So probably, Slash got no say for GNR?
I remember an interview of Sambora, when he said Jon would change some songs last minute to keep the band on their toes. I was even on Rock in Rio 2019- printed setlist, last song states „Never Say Goodbye”, but the crowd were chanting and singing „Always”, so after a long pause, they played „Always”.
Would be cool if GN’R do the same- even if not play songs they havent played in a while- just shuffle it. Keep the fans guessing! Hell, opening with Witchita Lineman is fresh and acceptable at this point!
