Mill Valley... and NO- it is my biggest GnR regret. I went back and forth for days about going. My gut said "Go, go, go..."

But I didn't  There was a Doors cover band around at that time and I assumed it was them... Decided I didn't want to go all the way into

the city to see fake Jim Morrison. In retrospect (being older and wiser now) that cover band would never have been booked into a place that big....

I'm going because Coachella  was not an option for me. Hipsters in the desert? Not my scene. 

I'm in California, so Vegas is easy to get to. Vegas is fun. I will be there for a few days, doing Vegas-ie stuff, aside from the concert.

I'm sure that the energy will be electric since these are the first shows- which is a bonus. But if the first show was in, say, New York?
